She can't sing her Fallen songs the way she used to because the songs on the Open Door are alot more straining on her vocals. So I love every performance of this song from 2003 up till today. I just hope her vocal chords are as strained on the new album *10/4/11* CAN'T WAIT!
And she do not miss any note! She's doing perfect almost all of notes! It's just different sound because it's different acoustics and other things.. And one thing, I forgot, she is TIRED to the end of the concert! Maybe it's almost the end.. It's a lot of factors... So, sing first and we'll comment it.. And "NOT SO SMART" DON'T MEAN "STUPID"!!
If she will do like you say, her concert will be boring for them, who are on it.. She wouldn't rock then.. And maybe I didn't understood all of your comments, because I am bad in English.. but I mean, I understood the most important thing! If you want really qualitative songs, then you can't have really rock! When she playing piano and singing she singing perfect! It is proof of her talant! She didn't miss anything from earlyer years..
Hello!! what are you talking about??!! I'm sorry, but I think you are not so smart to understand that she singing at the same time with dansing! It's VERY DIFFICULT! Try and you'll see! I know what I am talking about! Amy Lee is one of THE BEST rock singers! She is a talant! You just don't understand it!
@Lusjonok Please don't call others 'not so smart' as it implies they're stupid and it's not very POLITE.
First of all - we know it's difficult to sing and dance at the same time, we NEVER said it wasn't. If you had actually read our posts you would have realised that what we WERE saying is that because it IS difficult to sing and dance at the same time, maybe she should slow down a little and what until after she's finished singing her lines before she started head banging and running around.
@AmysEvArmy Because...the notes are different. She sounds a bit nasaly sometimes and there's sometimes too much power. The sweetness/angelicness that's supposed to be here is gone. Compare it to an acoustic performance here from their 2003 acoustic AOL Sessions going under performance. I guess it's because it's been a couple years, her voice changes.
@Etiros I see what you're saying, I guess I hadn't really noticed. Though I do think it's a shame that she doesn't enunciate her words as much as she used to, that's what I liked about Amy's performances when I first became a fan back in 2003. And that AOL acoustic performance you're referring to is one of my favourite performances, I think because the song sounds so different. Like the small acoustic clip of Everybody's Fool that can be found on the ABH DVD.
@AmysEvArmy Yep, I agree. For example, in Imaginary, she never finished the word "flower" She just says "flowa.." with barely the 'a'. That performance is also one of my favorites.
@Etiros Another example is the Zepp, Tokyo performance in 2007 - she sings "Feels like the weight of the wor..." the last word gets lost amongst her head banging *shakes head* It's great that she's so energetic and entertaining on stage, but sometimes I just wish she'd slow down and concentrate on her vocals. I know she can, because whenever she sits at the piano, she almost always sings flawlessly then. Oh well, what can you do?
@AmysEvArmy Yeah that too. Also, what I noticed in going under is how she sings "I'm" ...I don't like how she sings that part compared to how it's originally supposed to be. But yeah, oh well

@Lusjonok I'm not arguing on this matter, you have your opinions and I have mine. Let's leave it at that.
