@jeffreymgoodwin No, because that's not exactly what happens in the show. :) She probably just wrote it to make the song make a little sense off the fly. In the show what happens is George shows up, and Amalia thinks he's just there to taunt her, (which he does) and then the next morning Amalia calls in sick having never met her penpal and George goes to her apartment and brings her icecream and tells her he saw a fat bald man outside the cafe, and that's probably her penpal. :) Hope that helps

Wonderful! Does anyone know any other broadway songs that go this high toward the end? This is what I always use for auditions and I think about every director in my area has heard it by now...

Wow lol that was a great interpretation, very comical, wonderful ending. She tends to scoop a little in the song, but other than that, great job and great voice!
