  • alguém pode me passar a letra dessa musica em ingles?

porque também quero canta-la na versão em ingles para PT BR

  • I think the English version reflected Rika's emotions better.

  • as duas versões são ótimas! lindas! mais eu achei a adaptação ingles melhor ^^

eu estou fazendo na versão em Portugueses BR.

    _____________________________________________________________

both versions are great! beautiful! more I found the best English adaptation ^ ^

I am doing in Portuguese BR version.

  • @shewdonsb18 Quero ouvir em português!! Quando ficar pronta me mostre.

  • japanese voices are so high

    but great song :)

  • First Japanese song I ever sang years ago ^^ Such memories

    ~PPL, nya~

  • Ruki Makino/Rika Nonaka is so beatifull!

  • I love a lot of japanese songs, and have nothing against them, but jeditemple1, the english one is better. I like the tune and the lyrics, and I don't realize the lyrics in many songs. It seem more emotional then the japanese version, both lyrics and tuning.

  • @bulma6781 Finally someone who agrees ;)

  • I think I actually like the english version better.

  • She hates singing but she's soooo good at it! In both versions! Thanks for posting this!

  • Japanese is more better, the english's melody changed..

  • i like the english version better

  • The English version isn't as good as the Japanese version. It's Better!

  • Wow she is a beautiful singer English and Japanese!

  • Since when did Digimon became Disney?

I just noticed that the English version changed the melody...

  • @ShironTheWindragon they probably changed the melody to make the dub song fit with the music

  • que linda cancion de rika

  • ENG VER

  • Look on Rika's t-shirt! The heart is NOT broken! Maybe the original broken heart represents her feelings for her father!

  • @DigidestinedJason396 actualy , in one of the final ep's when they came back , her mom bought matching shirts with hearts on them hopeing it would give her luck ^_____^

  • @PopRocketsProduction Oh, lol. I've only watched up to the episode where Gallantmon defeats Beelzemon. xD Thanks for info. >_<

  • i wish it was a whole song like 3:00 or so. i love it i just wish there was more on the english version i mean

  • i love the english version! rikas my fav digi girl

  • lol at the end of the english voice, takato is shocked at her voice

  • Is it too much to love both? I mean, technically, they're two different songs in two different languages. So I say they're both great.

  • Usually I hate English dubs where they change the song altogether, especially in Digimon...However, this is amazingly done! I can't even decide which one I like more! Both are so beautiful and heartbreaking in combination with the scene and Ruki/Rika's voice!

  • The english version is sad, but the japanese version shows ruki more mature. I think it suit more to ruki's character.

  • I like the english voice better actually, yeah the words arent the best but i like the voice better for older rika

  • Wow, Rika sings really beautiful.

  • I like both versions ^o^ they're both lovely! <3

  • English sounds better

  • I really love japanese music and I hear it all day long, but I think the english version of this song is way better.

Not only it is better sung (It's not a problem when Ruki's japanese voice actor isn't a singer), but it has also way more feeling and the lyrics fit the scene better.

And btw, I'm german, so I could tell objectively :)

  • The Japanese version has more meaningful lyrics, I think. But I love the tune of the English one.

  • I wish we got to learn more about Ruki's past ='( It looked like her and her dad had such a good bond back then. To bad we never got to find otu what happened to him.

  • I Love the both versions:... :D

  • <3 the English dub!!!

  • Little Ruki is so cute XD

  • the little-Rika in the Japanese version was, good, unlike the creepy little-Rika of English version.

For the other song, incredably close, but i think i liked the English version beat the Japanese version. i Just feel like the words match better with the English version and the scene.

(i'm a Japanese song fan, so it was a tough call, but the Japanese version was still incredable)

  • Yea the english ones beat and melody has more feeling

  • I prefer the Japanese version although the English version also very nice, because Japanese version have more feeling...(My opinion)

  • i love both the japanese voice is really cute but the english voice is beautiful and suits he persinality (japs is too girly for her tomboyish attitude) but any who i still like both

  • i like the jap version better but the dub isnt bad

  • Both versions are very pretty but I like her voice in the english, it almost sounds like it was from a musical. I never knew Rika/Gaz could sing. : P

  • which episode is this ? I dun see it .... someone pls tell

  • @nijnail Its not an episode. Its the movie. Digimon Movie 6: Runaway Locomon.

  • @nijnail Is the movie! Not episode! Locomotive Runaway some like that

  • @manoelantoniojunior Runaway Locomon.

  • @Iilita3223 yeah

  • Just... Wonderfull =3

  • english rika has a great voice

  • Love Rika. Seriously, she's so awesome.

The Japanese one is waaay better in my opinion.

  • I love both versions but if I had to choose only 1 for my mp3 player it'd be the English version :) it's hard to beat a Broadway singer like Melissa Faun!!

  • both are good but....THE ENGLISH ONE IZ BETTER!!!~ XD

  • I am so confused did he die or leave them?

  • @wesleytocool he left them

  • @wesleytocool Both. In the Jap., he died. In the Eng., he left them.

  • urgh I can't sing the note when Ruki sings 'Aruite ikitai?' -___- it JUST hits my limit. FML

  • the english one was better

  • the english one isnt so bad

  • Did Rika's dad die or did he just leave? o-o

  • @EpikkWin he's die

  • @EpikkWin dunno he may have left

  • i LOVE the english version it always brings a tear to your eye. but the japanese version is good too. but my favorite will always be the english version! rika was a great character.

  • OMG I LOVE RIKA'S VOICE <3333

  • Beautifull Song ^^

  • the english one is my favorite its better then the Japan version but I do like the Japan version 2

  • Man i wish they would complete the english version!! seems so incomplete.

  • i guess this is one of those rare moments were the english dub sounds better.

  • The English version is better. The voice actor has a better singing voice.

  • I lovet I just LOVET

  • I love both versions, but I've got to say that I favor the English version.

Oh, and I think the dubbers did a great job in the English, because the words match up perfectly to Rika's mouth, which I'm sure is not an easy task to do, especially with a song.

Rika rocks. She's definitely my favorite Digimon character!

  • i like japanese for some reason xD sounds more natural

  • :'(

  • Aha, so I DO have this song on my Ipod!

The original, not the English version. It's gorgeous. x3

  • @ShootingStarNeo hehe way to go- i hav both versions on my phone

  • kinda sad how rika's dad is gone

  • Rika is my favourite character. =) I love the both songs. She's awesome

  • 103 pause it and look at her eyes the english rikas are lighter

  • i love both song!!!!

  • i like the english better

  • both good

  • woa

  • english one is better the the japanese

  • Both versions are amazing.

  • The Best Song to come out of the Digimon Series, even better than any other song that came out of seasons 1-5.

  • Proper translation of the Japanese lyrics (by me): We're always together, because we made a promise in the sunset / I want to see you soon, so please tell me those feelings. / My lonely heart - you suddenly jumped into it / For the short time you were there, you came to wrap me up in your gentleness

  • To be left behind like this - it's the first time this has happened, so / I'll take your warmth and gently pack it up in my pocket. / I want to walk on... / We're always, always together, because we made a promise in the sunset. / When I'm lonely and staring into the spreading orange / "I'm sure, I'm sure it'll be okay," that sunset whispers to me / I want to see you soon, so please tell me those feelings...

  • She the hottest <3

  • I prefer the english version better, better rhythm and I've always liked Rika's dub actor better. I don't like how in the original movie the dad says nothing and just gives a creepy smile and pat on the back, the english one gave him two small lines that made the scene at least heartwarming

  • I love rika too she's soooooooooo coooooooooooool

  • i love both Versions of the song

  • in the english version the dad seems like a pedo.

    *Smile* sing it again sweetheart....

  • i find that the english is better because you could see the change in age, but the japanese is pretty too

  • i like the english version better...xD

  • I like the english version better, because you really recognize, that Rika was growing older. The japanese child Rika and the older Rika sound samely.

  • the japanese version isbetter, both the lyrics and rhythm.

the english lyric is sad,but the japanese lyric showed that rika missed her father, but she would still keep strong.

By the way, the version I watched said rika's father was death. is that different from us version?

  • I find the English one better than the Japanese one.

  • OMG GAZ IS...IS SINGING ^o^

  • The rhythm for the English version reminds me of the rhythm of Tomodachi no Umi which is another song in Digimon Tamers from the first movie.

  • Rika must be my favourite char in digimon tamers =D The japanese version of this is incredibly beautiful <3

  • thats why its only a dream lol

  • The english lyrics for the dub is so sad

  • I think both are good but i like the Japanese one because i think that they put more feeling into what they do. But the English version has a good voice actress for Rika.

  • yup the voice is gaz's from invader zim

  • I always had been a fan of Rika.

  • the lyrics for the japanese one doesn't make any since if you read what it says. I still love the way it sounds tho. (english one is still better)

  • Becasue they don't have their words in oer when translated to english, if we translate our words to them its not exactly right because of the order.

  • @jeditemple1 That's true.

  • @jeditemple1 Ya, also it could be a bad translation. Chinese to English is notoriously bad.

  • @freefall15 It makes sense in Japanese.

  • @freefall15 You're kidding? The English version lacks emotion, too Americanised...

  • I like both versions! They're both pretty good!

  • So what happened to Rika's Father, did he pass away or something?

  • I don't think what happened was ever revealed...

  • Divorced. It's true. O___O

  • Japanese= Dead

    English= Divorced

but in the english movie it sounds they had to where he is dead

  • What proof do you have of this?

It wouldn't make much sense for them to edit it to have her no name, never shown father as "divorced" when there are various actual deaths in the series.

  • what proof is there if it was divorce... besides dub

I'm only going by what I have read, remember only 10 episodes are subbed (though their is a complete set but I hear the subs are pretty terrible.)

also put to mind that in some cases characters are never mentioned as to what happend, these would be Goku's, Naruto, Luffy's mother are not anywhere but have never explained.

and I don't know also the english song to me sounds more like a death then divorce

  • Where in the dub?

You can't just say "It was in the dub" without the proof to back it up.

Naruto's mother is presumed dead and has been shown. but we're not talking about that.

And there is a complete set. Not the greatest due to a few grammatical errors but are still pretty well done.

  • @Moneylikesme in the dub I believe it was in the episode where Jeri's father tried to save jeri from the D-reaper, it was in that episode rika said something about her parents being divorced or something... this being in the dub, for get which episode it was

  • Episode 47.

I watched both the the sub and dub versions of this episode.

    Both say divorced.

  • @Moneylikesme oh, okay, whatever, see ya later

  • @Moneylikesme I was only going by speculation, especially the english version, it sound a bit much to be about divorce, but what ever

  • Let's just say this:

They were divorced and sometime between the end of Tamers and this movie, he died.

  • hey, the subs your talking about, their not the positron cannon subs are they

  • Yeah....why?

  • @Moneylikesme I was looking some stuff apparently that was using a translated Spanish script

  • Well it's still the only version to get past like episode 24 subbed.

There is another group that is going to be subbing it but it won't reach the episode in question for awhile.

  • @Moneylikesme alright i can go for that

  • @Moneylikesme and Masterofvore02 In the english version it is divorce, but I was pretty sure that in the jap version the father died.

  • you dont know digimon movies so dont comment like that!!~!!!

  • Wow! Very cute and beautiful. Brings back memories. Poor Rika :'(

Both verisons were awesome! Though the english verison feels very disney (not as if it was bad thing) XD THANKS FOR UPLOADING THIS CUZ I HAVE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE ^_^

  • I like the english one better. But both are still really good

  • where have you found the movie?

    plz tell me

  • i liked english better it sounds like theres more feeling in it

  • what is this digimon wich one?

  • It's Digimon Tamers (the movie) it's after the 4 season, when the digimon came back, sorry, but most people kept on asking how the digimon came back

Anyways, the title of the movie is Run away Locomon

  • It's hard to decide which is better since both songs were so touching. Personally, I would have to say the English Version is better, but I think it's because it had music to back it up...

Also, what are the names of the songs? I know it's in the introduction, but cursive writing is hard on my eyes.

  • Promise of the setting sun (english ver.)

    Yuuln Ne Yakuseku in japanese.

well i think thats how to spell it in Jap. i cant rlly see sum letters

  • @Musicgail

    Thanks a billion.

And it's actually Yuuhi No Yakusoku, I just checked.

  • Both songs are just different, its hard to compare English song with any Japanese for instance only because in japan they dont use rhymes. So im not going to say which is betteri prefer English version but only cause im used to that type of songs.

  • i dont like japennese song bluh

  • the japanese is better but the english is great too i love it x3

  • the japanese version is better^^

  • In both versions of the ANIME Rika's parents were just divorced.

  • english young rika sound like rini to me an i think both r good to me their equal cuz their both really good

  • I love both versions but I think the english version is prettier and better. Now isn't that a first? XD

  • I agree with you!

  • I love the Japanese version better, it sound much better. I hate the english dubbers. I mean, they make everything funnier, but they make it gay in the process.

  • The japanese sound so lovely.

  • Taste very! very pretty! mainly the version in English I forgive, for speaking of this skill, I am Portuguese ' - '

  • I know how Reika feels (Sorry for typing it Reika, but I just like to type it that way, I prefer it, I know it confuses people because once I put it on a digimon forum and someone thought it was a digimon/tamer coupling ! @_@;

  • wow for someone who hates singing she can BLOW

  • It is it reminds her of her dad, who actually died in the original version.

  • what a beautiful song,Rika rocks

  • their both still pretty but japanese sounds better.

  • She used to love singing, but now she hates it? Wow, that divorce must have affected her pretty badly. My parents' divorce didn't affect me at all (or at least I don't think it did). In fact, things are a bit better since the divorce. No more Mom making my sister worse.

  • Its just that the dubbing to english was wrong. A divorce didnt hit her hard, but originally it was that her dad died. (That hit hard)

  • They english dubber thought the death would be to hard for the kids watching it so they made to a divorce. The death would of made it better

  • Nothing was changed. Rika's parents were divorced in both versions.

Before you try and come back saying I'm wrong, think about it. If death would have been too hard for the kids, why did they clearly show Leomon die and why did they show Jeri/Juri's mom dying in the dub?

  • no, rika's dad died in the subbed.

  • What proof do you have stating such? I gave you undeniable proof that changing a minor characters supposed death into a divorce would have made no logical sense for the dub.

Why can't you give me some sort of proof that states that he actually did die.

  • well, really, i don't think anyone should be complaining...

i mean, it could be worse.

    4kids could have dubbed it.

    O.O
