All County Band 2009: Clouds that sail in heaven (kinda)

Wow....I'd expect more from an All-County Band.

I mean the sound was pretty good....but the the music was fairly simple, and it's in a gym! Wow....seriously our all-county bands play at huge music halls.

Our schools going through some total crap budget cuts, we're lucky we even still have any of the music program. We don't have any money to buy any new music, so all our originals are brown and falling to pieces if we can find them. I play trombone, and the closest thing we had to it was the tenor sax part.

And this is our music hall.... its where we have everything music related. Ever since indoor lacrosse and water polo (who shared the facility) got cut we've claimed this room as our own. Our

County only has 3 schools, and since the band program is pretty small, they just have everyone come to all county. No lie. (Seriously.... like, i mean it.) We even have some middle school kids come in to help fill in the lack of good saxophone player (hence how I play the sax part....) So since our band is so horrible, we can't play any of the old sheet music we DO still have, because they're for grade 2.... or maybe its a measurement. I don't know.... that's what our band teacher told us. Since

we can't play our music, we borrow it from the middle school, which works pretty well except our class has played the music 3 years in a row at this point. Maybe that's why it sounds 1/2 decent. But only half. The Director from our campus's middle school comes over and yells at our maestro every few weeks though.... some kid filmed it last week and uploaded it on youtube somewhere. The director found it though, and threatened to report it to the school, so he had to remove it. Only things to
