Here, this might be why - there were papers on all the floors below the fire. The building collapses. Why would all the paper on those 80-90 floors below the impact zone, being shot out catch on fire?

Surprising this is such a hard concept to believe but you can experiment easily by doing what I used to. I used to burn papers in a burn barrel, and unless you constantly allowed the flames to get to the paper and burn them, they didn't burn unless exposed for HOURS to fire (even after adding other things to burn), and even then not all of the paper was burned, or even scorched. To get it all to burn, I used to wad it up into balls to increase airflow as keeping it stacks inhibited burning

The paper that was sprawled all over the place came from the upper floors above the impact of the plane. Everything below the impact area turned to dust due to molecular dissociation caused by a underground nuclear demolition device. That device was built into the towers(below its Foundation) from day one of construction. What you want to look for is the demo scheme for the WTC. Good luck in trying because it is classified for obvious reasons. The company responsible for this is called CDI.

Seems kinda obvious to me. Concrete crushes and crumbles, turns to dust. That's what happened when the floors collapsed on top of each other. Paper is flexible, it bends and gives and floats. Paper doesn't crush into dust. Hit a concrete block with a sledgehammer, then hit a stack of paper. The paper was blown out while the building collapsed, that's all.

@Velox415 I think the point is that we were told it was a huge explosion, filled with fire, that caused the collapse. I've seen regular fire and everything burns. Paper is not magically excluded. And you would have seen videos of nuclear bombs, perhaps. Wouldn't have been much paper littering the streets in bombed out Hiroshima, I'm betting. Unless if fell burning. You know? Hard to believe a petroleum based fire could cause granite to turn to powder too.

Paper would be crushed inside their steel filling cabinets in your pancake theory... The paper was un-effected by the Hutchison Effect that powderized the steel cabinets leaving paper to float freely.
