This is if you have like a file from a rogue or anything else, it shows how much cpu it is taking to run it and this how you stop something from running that won't show up in the applications
Some of these processes are start up processes and will restart when your computer is restarted. It's really annoying to try to figure out which ones are absolutley essential and which ones are not. I have 60+ processes running and am researching to cut out the fat. Takes alot of time.
