Good tips! Would you mind having a look at my recent video upload of my steering, I don't think it's outer tie rod as they are stiff, possibly inners but there isn't any play in the wheels while raised so I suspect something in the rack/pinion?
i have a knocking or deep clicking sound on the front passenger side under the car, it is a noise that cycles, and when i hit the breaks to slow down it disappears. the sound seems to occur around speeds of 15mph and below and specially in glide speed where there no gas pedal pressure is applied. i think the knocking sound is coming from the front axle around the right tire (passenger side). WHAT COULD THE PROBLEM BE???
@jlsparky7 2002 honda civic FF. i think it is around an axel related problem or brake rotors because the noise cycles. i do not think it is a suspension problem. i don't really know.
@alitap Anyway you could get a video of it for me? Hard to tell.... if its a rotational noise that limits the possibilities... Axle 1/2 shafts, wheel bearings, or rotors would be my guess.
you missed the main one that had me stumped loose break pad , but still a good walk threw

I live in Missouri, have a 97 4x4 ranger that eats ball joints for breakfast. Dirt roads beat a truck to pieces.

@vkelsov Moog ball joints have a lifetime warranty. Go with those.

@alitap Year? Make? Model? 4wd? has anything been replaced? does the knocking seem suspension or engine related?
