Plasma TV's are good, but you need to get a new and expensive one. The only thing I dont like about plasma's are the power consumption. Burn in with plasma's is pretty much a thing of the past with the new ones. But there r new laser tv's already out and they are better than both plasma's and LCD's in every way.

i have a 50" HD plasma. and a 50" fullHd lcd tv. i dont like the plasma and i gets plasma burn in less than a minute!!! Then again my plasma was abou $1000 while my lcd was $3000. I love my lcd, it is so clear and i set up surround sound and it is brilliant for playing xbox :P

Forget this model.

I own both models TH-50PX600U and TH-42PX600U are full 1080p.

Warning: There is a difference in models. TH-50PX600U is 1080p and TH-50PX60U isnt. Notice the model number for a cheaper set (600u/60u). This HDTV is incredible. Just do a search online for these models. They show nothing but great reviews and comments. Personally i mostly use my TH-42PX600U for games plus movies in the bedroom and use the 50 inch one in the living room.

lol its not even HD-Ready. So the HD singal will be scaled down. So playing PS3 on 720p will not be the same as 720p on a HD-Ready Plasma

heck no ,i'm not buying 1! i jus got a 42 inch hd westinghouse monitor for 800 bucks. This thing is well over 2 times the price for only 8 sq diag. inches. Not worth it Yet. Tiger Direct is has great prices though.
