I love these containers. I purchased them several years ago and use them in my craft room. We installed several 8 foot shelves in my craft room and when I purchased these I purchased enough for 1 shelf. I then purchased extra sets and continue to move items into them. I even have some in a cupboard in the room. You can get organized easily and they do slide in and out without disturbing the "stack".
