Sorry to say it, but your friend or brother heard on the video is a complete moron! You asked if you should go downstairs...someone said no! Perfect example of stupidity and lack of maturity. That storm could have easily produced a Tornado which could conceivably kill you in a matter of seconds. Use your head!
you should cover your camera in foam and throw it into a tornado and see what footage you get. the hard part is finding where your camera lands.
