  • PETA does do some good things but overall they are a horrible orgaization.

  • Jesus, may have been vegan, because all vegans go to heaven.

  • Wait, but God himself delivered meat (quail) to the Israelites in the desert. Personally, I don't believe that Jesus was a vegetarian. I believe pita has conjured up a creative marketing campaign, using Jesus for their own means. Not to say that I'm for animal cruelty. The footage is horrifying but to say Jesus was a vegetarian is a little over the top. Even if he didn't eat meat, he condoned eating it when he fed the multitudes fish.

  • @moshloops Jesus was member of the Esseni and they were vegetarians.

  • @moshloops He myth that Jesus "fed the multitudes fish" is based on an old translation mistake. In the first centuries there were 36 gospels but the meat eating popes and their church banned most and changed the remaining four...

  • But, there is nothing wrong with a being a vegan. What the Bible does say is that we should not force our convictions about this issue on other people or judge them by what they eat or do not eat. Romans 14:2-3 tells us, “One man's faith allows him to eat everything, but another man, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. The man who eats everything must not look down on him who does not, and the man who does not eat everything must not condemn the man who does, for God has accepted him.”

  • Jesus was not a vegetarian. The Bible records Jesus eating fish (Luke 24:42-43) and lamb (Luke 22:8-15). Jesus miraculously fed the crowds fish and bread, a strange thing for Him to do if He was a vegetarian (Matthew 14:17-21). In a vision to the apostle Peter, Jesus declared all foods to be clean, including animals (Acts 10:10-15). After the flood in Noah's time, God gave humanity permission to eat meat (Genesis 9:2-3). God has never rescinded this permission.

  • @alligatoroutlawgoode One point to be aware of is that Jesus himself ate very little flesh anywhere in the Bible. A few times Jesus would partake in that just as he allowed sacrifice before he died and rose again from the cross. In Gen as you mentioned, that was after mankind sinned against God so at that point harmony between the animals and mankind was also effected by their sinful choice. It's also why God said that one day the lion shall again lie down with the lamb. To return to what was.

  • Can someone explain me this pleas? :"Blessed is the lion which the man shall eat, and the lion become man; and cursed is the man whom the lion shall eat, and the lion become man"

I'm not christian or catholic anymore, but my family is and I wanna try to make them understand that meat is not meant for humans but their mayor reason to keep eating meat is because they say Jesus ate fish..

  • @MissRenesmeePretty I'm not sure what passage you're refering to. If a person say's their reason to continue to eat meat is because Jesus ate fish, remind them of this. That verse only say's that Jesus was given a piece of fish and bread and he ate it. I would not consider that a reason to eat meat. Jesus also allowed animal sacrifice as a penility because mankind sinned against God before Christ died and rose again for our sins. Because something was allowed then, does not mean it is now.

  • @MissRenesmeePretty also keep in mind that it's important to trace back to the beginning of Adam and Eve to find out what God intended for mankind BEFORE mankind sinned against God. Adam and Eve were created with a vegan lifestyle, before they sinned, there was no animal killing, eating, ect. This is shown in Gen 1:29 where God gave ONLY fruits, seeds and plants as food for not only humans but the creatures she created at that point also. So mankinds sin is why any of that changed in that time.

  • @MrZombieIsHungry but the creatures HE created at that point also I meant to say. bad typo had to correct.

  • Vegans and vegetarians who push their views on others by using religion are no better than the self righteous bible thumpers. Quit using religion it's tasteless.

  • @babecat2000 umm.. well nobody is pushing anybody, you eaither choose to believe or not, and vegans and vegetarians try to make people think about going vegan or vegetarian with religion cus that's one of the reasons wehy people are scared to help this cause , to help animals.. anyway im sorry that you think people are pushing, im non religious but i think that's the reason why some ppl are scared to change.

  • the reason why there was no judgement day was cuz i accidentely ate jesus christ when he was reborn as a cow

  • The bible itself isn't a historical source & there is some debate about whether a man called Jesus even existed, are you to tell me that we can actually accurately say if Jesus (regardless of his divinity) ate vegetarian based off the Bible? The only source that accounts for more than a few lines of his existence

  • Oh,It's NO,1 Education in this world. Many thanks for your share!!!

  • Even if he was, screw that. I don't give a fuck about his views, I'm going to eat all the meat I want.

  • @MrMrCompiler Then that must not be right....Your body is mexed up know :/

  • @MrMrCompiler umm so why are you watching and commenting this video stupid faggot.

  • Jesus was not a veggie.

remember the loaves and fishes parable/miracle.

  • @squirell1952 Yes and that was before Christ gave his life on the cross for our sins. You could go back and say well what about animal sacrifce for sins back in OT times. That does not mean it's OK to do that after Christ gave his life to cover the sins of mankind if we accept Christ as Lord and savior. Point is that animals were never created to suffer or be eaten. It was ONLY after mankind sinned that any killing of any kind happened. Being Vegan takes self discipline, most peole don't have.

  • @MrZombieIsHungry : a PARABLE IS A MAKIE-UPPIE STORY! maybe Jesus was a veggie after all! i am not, i will admit, but even so. i have a feeling animals were not wild until MAN came on the scene!! dinosaurs were probablymore civilized to one anoather than we humans are to each other today. It was a Christian Spiritualist who told me that. Makes sense, too.Nature's cruelty is one thing but MAN'S CRUELTLY IS SOMETHING ELSE. IT IS CALCULATED. Maybe we need to pray a bit more.

    THANKS FOR YOUR LETTER.

  • @squirell1952 I agree, we can't control the wildness that is in many animals and everything that happens in nature. What we can control is how we choose to treat animals and how we live our lives even now. There will come a time when the animals shall once again be at peace with eachother, no more killing as the Bible says in Isaiah 11:6. Thanks for your comments. Compassion is something that goes beyond humans and something that animals deserve even more since they have no real voice.

  • @MrZombieIsHungry - some branches of the very spiritual buddhist religion actually maintain that God The Father can actually change the DNA of animals. Others wouldlaugh at this. let them laugh. if it is possible, could this not be one of God's many miracles we have yet to see? Could DEC-21-2012 be the first sign of all this?

a lot of people are spouting rubbish about that date already, as you probably know, but I would love to see a miracle soon. Yeah, change the DNA. yes, please!!

  • @squirell1952 Jesus himself said clearly that no man knows the exact hour that Christ will return. False religious teachings of men that put dates on the end of the world, do so to put focus and glorify themselves. Jesus said that no man knows the exact hour but discern the sign of the times. WE ARE living in the end times, a one world order is coming soon, a one world currency, the rise of a one world leader ect. However, 2012 will come and go, the antichrist has not risen to power yet.

  • @MrZombieIsHungry u think? what about all this strange things happening in 2012? death birds falling from the sky, fishes appearing death in lakes? just like the bible.. i used to be cristian-catholic because of my family, but i changed.. anyway a lot of bad things are happening to the earth, maybe its not the end of the world, but it's the end of this era of cruelty and bad stuff.

  • @MissRenesmeePretty Don't get me wrong, we are living in the later times in the world. Yes, there is a lot happening right now that is very clear in Revelations, no doubt about that. Where people go wrong however is putting a date on the end, 2012 is not the end but we are living in the end times. The one world leader, antichrist will proclaim himself as God when he is in full power in the temple in the last 3 and a half years of a 7 year rise to power. Not even in the temple yet but waiting.

  • It is about time.Jesus was born at the beginning of the Sukkot and October the First is Vegetarian Day.I am gonna go bak vegetarian.

  • Uhm.....maybe you should READ the Bible instead of taking a work out of context and going through EVERY SINGLE WORD. The Greek language is a very specific one. One word could mean many things in English. And "fishweed" could be drug use, not eating fake food and pretending its for a good cause.

  • Veganism: Eating meat is evil; therefore, telling lies about the Bible to promote your agenda is justifiable. Vegans are sick. There as bad as the Hare Krishnas, who do the same. Bunch of liars.

  • @cadmus98 you are lucky that you are not an animal, you bastard, and once you become an animal you'll thank us vegetarians because we will not eat you. animals have feelings to, they have heart, listen to it. animals have been with us humans ever since, we share the same planet, we share the same home, so we should treat them as our family. and why care about animals? animals are good being, animals don't cut trees and destroy this world, humans do.

  • @HorrorAddict23 Lying about a religion in order to get converts to your cause is not acceptable. If a cause - such as vegetarianism - is right, then it should not require lies to get supporters, should it? If you need to tell lies, it is because your position is nonsense. That is the problem with those who want to lie about Jesus to promote their vegetarianism. They're horrid, hypocritical people.

  • Meat eating is not a sin, and vegetarianism doesn't make you more holy. "One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables." (Romans 14:2). God even commands St Peter to kill and eat various animals at one point. What's more evil: twisting the Bible to forbid the eating of meat, or eating meat? Vegans are twisted.

  • @cadmus98 take a look at the slaugther house how animals struggle in pain. i used to believe in god for the blessings i have, but i am not selfish, i also gave attention to humans and animals who are suffering. if god made animals for food, why animals have to feel pain huh? i don't care if i go to hell, i'm just telling the truth, god if you are there, you left us here in this world of cruelty. you are like a corrupt govenmt who kills anyone who speaks against you abt ur flaws

  • PETA.. there's nothing wrong if your members chooses to be vegetarian.. but come on! stop using the Bible in your blasphemous advocacy! eat Herbs if you want to, but don't use God in discouraging other people in eating meat! you have used the Bible irresponsibly, showed people your preconceived ideas about it's contents regarding the matter.. Some men may have practiced cruelty in killing animals for food but NOT ALL do such things.. Stop your absurdity for God's sake!

  • How dare these people who uses the bible in justifying their crazy beliefs! yeah it's good to be vegetarian, but it's not evil to eat meat at all! But look at some of these foolish vegetarians as they cross the line! eating meat was ordained by HIM, as long as men will clean it and exclude it's blood for the blood is sacred. The society accepts these vegetarians but is it necessary for some of these people to discourage others in eating meat using their self serving tools and even the bible??

  • I meant everything that lives. Sorry. But genesis 9: 1-3 os pretty clear. Animals are food ans god put humans in charge of their lives. God does not want animals liberated.

  • Genesis 9: 1-3. "So god blessed Noah and his sons and said to them "be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. " and the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth,on every beast bird of the air, on all that move on the earth, and on all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand. Every moving thing that loves shall be on food for you. I have given you all things, even the green herbs."

  • Christian using lies for a good cause. Jesus multiple fishes to give them back their freedom

  • Peta os lying. Anyone who has read the bible knows that jesus feed the multitude fish. It the was one of his first miracles. He miraculously feed 10,000 people fish and bread using one boys fish dinner. Also jesus was jewish and was not against animal sacrifice. He was against the money changers ripping people off. Not the fact they had animals.

  • @alansjf33 right right right, its sad when people try to take christianity and use it for their own gain, it also pisses me off because I'm christian, I may do stupid things like steal change off the counter, lie about taking the last soda n watch porn, but what these guys are doing crosses the line, slandering Jesus.

I try to be good n so should everyone wether they're christian or not.

  • Acts 10:9-16! Jesus & YHWH seem to be at odds here. Aren't they supposed to be one & the same?

  • When It got to the part of a man slicing off it's poor beak, my heart stuttered and I turned off the video. Poor animal!

  • What the fuck? LOL doesn't surprise me that this shit's from PETA.

  • This is silly and I doubt anyone with any education will give this any more credit than they would an Enquirer magazine. There are more than 36,000 ancient parchments and bible scrolls fragments etc. That are exactly as the bible today. The Dead Sea Scrolls a relatively new finding are also the same. Not one single Bible Scholar Believer or Athiest or Ancient text Expert Believer or Athiest casts any doubt on the completeness or accuracy of Bible Translations. Uneducated Sillyness

  • I agree with some of this but not all of it. If you're interested, check out my article on vegetarianism from a Biblical perspective, at candlecrossministry.co.uk. I don't think Yeshua was vegetarian, but I do believe He cares for animal welfare. As for me I'm a vegetarian Christian and I look forward to the New Creation when the animal kingdom will be at peace.

  • I'm a Christian and totally agree with Peta although this is the first time I've heard this from Peta. Genesis says God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.

  • @onyxescence Is meat eating bad karma? /watch?v=ytEz2GQOVNk

  • @onyxescence Well after the flood god told man to eat meat.

  • You can say that it is unchristian to be cruel to animanls, but stating that Jesus is a vegetarian like it is a fact is only using the name of Christ to further an agenda. Truth is always important even if it doesn't fit in your agendas.

  • Bull crap. Jesus didn't make lots of fish weed to feed the multitude. Jesus fished, and some of his Disciples had been raised as professional fishermen. I'm not buying it. It's just patently false that Christ was a vegetarian. I just wish these PETA/Vegans/Nazis would start being honest. Whenever I hear them talk about how healthy vegetarianism is I roll my eyes. The movement has nothing to do with health and everything to do with their politics and pseudo-morality.

  • @gurumagoo "thou shall not kill" is a very simple thing, to spill blood, whether human or animal, doesn't really flow with jesus do unto others philosophy. Those who love themselves more than God choose to eat meat. "All who desire to be my disciple LET NO FLESH MEAT ENTER YOUR MOUTHS" (Lection 38, Gospel of the Holy Twelve)

  • @guitarhero666759 Your argument has no merit, and you are deliberately attempting to misdirect the intended context. First of all, the literal translation of the Hebrew reads: "You will not murder". The meaning of the word "murder" is fundamentally different from that of the word "kill". Secondly, the Decalogue is a moral code intended to govern the actions between people and between people and God; not between people and animals.

  • @gurumagoo it was thou shalt not kill, why was it changed to murder i wonder? Mans lusty desire to enjoy meat, because they love themselves too much. Christ taught that we must live compassionately and watch over the kingdom of God. What is compassionate? Eating the bodies of our fellow creatures who are weaker than we are?

  • It wasn't changed. Many Bibles mistranslate the original Hebrew word which refers to unlawful or unjustified killing.

  • Third, the "Gospel of the Holy Twelve" is not a Christian text, but is instead an unauthentic apocryphal text that has absolutely no authority in God's Church. It was written in the 19th century by godless men. The only text that does have authority is the Bible. Do not cite anymore of your made up scriptures. Fourth, I very much doubt you are even a person of faith because of your obvious ignorance of the Bible; and are merely attempting to co-opt religion to press your politics.

  • @gurumagoo so what you're saying is that only the bible holds the answers and that my beliefs are false, is that what you're saying? that's kind of missing the whole point of religion isn't it, it's not about who's religion is right, it's about developing love of God.

  • That is exactly what I'm saying; and no, it is you who are missing the point. The Christian faith is defined by the Bible. If you reject the Bible, you also reject the Christian faith and are therefore not a Christian. By your own admission you do not accept the Bible as the one and only Christian authority. I'm not deciding you are not a Christian. You are. Truth is not a point of view. Rejecting God's Word, doesn't solicit His love.

  • @gurumagoo first i never said i reject the bible, and i never said i reject the Christian faith, but i also never said i was a Christian in the first place. But i'm not here to prove to you my religion's better than your religion, like i said, comparing each others religion is NOT RELIGION! religion means to believe in God, so whether you believe in Ala, Jahova, or Krishna etc, the point is, you should love God, love others, chant his holy names and always strive for perfection.

  • @gurumagoo You say truth is not a point of view, so then what is truth? I don't reject Gods word, if i rejected Gods words i would be an atheist, if i rejected Gods word i wouldn't be trying to help others come to God. You have to ask yourself, why do think everyone should/has to follow the bible. Truth is, we should give up all varieties of religion and just surrender unto God, because all the time we spend deciding which one's right, could be spent in just trying to please God.

  • @guitarhero666759 I'm not imposing my beliefs on anyone. God Himself gives you a choice. You can either choose to follow Him, or choose not to follow Him. God gave mankind a guide to show us how to follow Him. If you reject His guide, you have rejected Him. We don't get to decide who is right and who is wrong. The Bible tells us that. Your only choice is whether or not you will abide by it. A lost sheep cannot help other lost sheep. All you can do is be lost together.

  • @gurumagoo there is only one God, but everyone's brought up in a different culture/faith, some are muslim, Christian, hindu, hare krishna etc. But that doesn't mean they reject God, that doesn't mean they're insincere. If a muslim devotes his life to serving God and Gods creatures, do you think Gods going to turn a blind eye to effort? He's actually more sincere than a christian or hindu who just imposes their beliefs on others and call others beliefs false. continued . . .

  • @guitarhero666759 If someone finds a connection with God in a religion other than my own, is it not their right to embrace that connection? what in Gods name gives me the right to belittle or deny them that connection? what would that say about me? jealous /envious perhaps? the point is, If i choose to insult others, that just reflects upon who i associate with. and i may insult others religions, but who does it really benefit?

  • Confronting a falsehood with the truth is not an act of jealously or envy. All evil needs to prevail, is to go unchallenged. Destroying a lie is not an insult. One day all this may be real enough to you for you to take it seriously. God is real, and He has a plan. There is only one plan, just as there is only One God. His name is I Am and He has no beginning and no end. He simply Is. He is the ultimate Truth, and in Him there is no falsehood. For your beliefs to be true, all this would be a lie.

  • @gurumagoo to say what is false means you have to know what is true, but as you have stated, God cannot be understood, so therefore how can you say all other religions are false, how can you call them evil? if they're teaching people how to become lovers of God what is the evil in that? the source of the knowledge doesn't change the knowledge. For example in university, it doesn't matter where you get the answers, so long as you understand what you're doing.

  • Are you kidding? Of course it matters where you get the answers. If I got the answers through careful study and diligent work, then doing well on my exam is the natural and just outcome. If on the otherhand, I got the answers by peaking over at my neighbors answer sheet, then I have done a bad thing. I failed to do the work appointed to me, and at the same time I have perpetrated a lie and a theft by covertly stealing the work of someone else. The ends don't justify the means.

  • @gurumagoo i am not suggesting we go out and steal, and i wasn't conveying peaking at your neighbors answer sheet. the point i was making is that different books teach the same thing, and that not everything can be learnt from one book, you can't fully understand chemistry just by reading one book on chemistry, you may have to read dozens of books. But reading doesn't cut it, you have to experiment too. to find the answers, you must test the claims made by others.

  • @gurumagoo so if it is said by chanting hare krishna you become free from anxiety, instead of just saying that's not true, why not actually try it? to say it's not true would imply that you've already tried it. it's like ice cream, you may think a particular flavor will taste bad, but do you really know if you haven't tried it?

  • @gurumagoo say i have an english exam and i am provided a book, while some students are provided different books, does that mean theirs is wrong? no, if they teach about english then what is wrong?

  • What you need to ask yourself, is whether or not you trust God. If you decide that you do trust Him, then listen to what He has to tell you. He has a plan just for you, just as He has known you since before the foundations of this world. You are not an arbitrary creation. He had a plan for you before he even made you. He offers you a free gift of life everlasting; but in order to recieve that gift you must set aside your old life and take up His. The first step is His Holy Word. Listen to Him.

  • @gurumagoo Religion in the dictionary means "accepting a supreme controller" right? So do the people accept a supreme controller? There are a lot of religions, but do they actually know who the supreme controller is? when talking about religion, it's not about christianity, muslim or hindu. It's like gold, gold is everywhere, there's no christian gold, muslim gold or hindu gold, it's just gold. it doesn't matter where the gold came from, whether it's gold is what matters.

  • @gurumagoo so the point is, there's no hindu God, Christian God or muslim God, there is only God. the sun in America is the same sun seen in Russia, Australia, Africa, China, Japan, everywhere. but they don't all call it "the sun" in english. Due to having different languages, naturally they have different names for it. Am i right?

  • If you accept that God would lie, then you must also accept that the concept of sin has no basis in reality. If the Creator would lie, then there is no foundation for truth, and the ends justify the means. TRUTH is the essence of holiness; and nothing is holy apart from truth. In denying the truthfulness of God, you deny every aspect of God and abandon every semblance of moral certitude. You prove my point even better than I could.

  • @gurumagoo sin is an immoral act considered to be transgression against divine law. is it immoral to lie in order to save ones life?

  • @gurumagoo my friend told me story, he said it was from the bible, i'm not 100%. the basic story is, there was un touchable bleeding to death on the street, a saint sees him but thinks oh no he's an untouchable, surely getting his blood on me would be bad. What would jesus do? what would you do?

  • You don't even know what Christianity is. If you did, you would know that no amount of good deeds or sincerity can be sufficient for salvation. It doesn't matter how good a person you are, how nice to people you are, or how often you pray. Salvation comes through grace alone; and grace comes through Christ alone. In order to accept your view of the world, it would be necessary for truth to be separate from reality. That is a logical paradox and therefore an impossibility.

  • @gurumagoo So then "do unto others" means nothing according to your logic. What do you think truth is?

  • @guitarhero666759 If there is as you say "only one God" then in order to have so many valid paths to salvation God would have to be a liar. God is not a liar.

  • @gurumagoo how would God be a liar? God can come in different forms as he chooses. God is actually a person, it's said we're made in the image of God, therefore he must have a form like us.

  • John 4:24 says God is Spirit, and must be worshipped in spirit and in truth. We are created in His image in that we exist with a mind, a body, and a spirit; just as God exist as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is the Trinity: the Three that are One. But we are not the body, because without the mind and the spirit the body is just a pile of matter. God does not exist as a physical being with a long gray beard sitting on some lofty throne. God is everywhere all at once.

  • Different religions which advocate different and conflicting paths for salvation cannot all be right. In order for one to be right, all others must be wrong. Otherwise, one must accept that God told one person one thing and told someone else something altogether different. He would have to have lied about who He is, presenting a different picture to different people. If God is truthworthy and always truthful, He would always be the same to all people. Someone has to be wrong and it's not God.

  • @gurumagoo the ultimate goal is God, so you have to understand God and try to love him. you can take any religious process, so long as the goal is attained, that you understand God and love him, then your life is perfect. God tells you what you're ready to hear, that is why some people do not see God, because they are not qualified. Eg, in krishna consciousness one must give up sense gratification and work for God/Krishnas senses. it's as simple and literal as that.

  • Then there our paths diverge. The Hindu Krishna is a false idol, and not the Most High. You cannot understand God. It is an impossibility. God is infinite while your mental capacities are not. The human mind cannot even grasp the realities of this earth, and you think you can understand God; the Supreme Being who created the Cosmos with a Word????

  • @gurumagoo first you say Krishna is a false idol, and not the most high, then you say it is impossible to understand God. For one to judge what is true or false, he must be in the position of knowing the truth. So then how can you say Krishna is false if you do not understand who God is? how can you say he is not the farther if you don't even know who the father is?

  • @gurumagoo Also God can do whatever he likes, if he chooses to lie he can do that too, if you really love him, you will understand why, because you understand that everything God does, is actually for our benefit. But God doesn't tell us different things, if you study all the religions of the world you can see that the same principles are there. chanting Gods names, always remembering him, doing unto others. Just study yourself and you will see the commonality.

  • Of course God can do whatever he likes. He is GOD!!! But He is also a RIGHTEOUS God. There is no falsehood in Him, and nothing that is false is OF Him. He is the HOLY ONE and cannot be moved. You imply that God would act in way contrary to His nature. That is not possible. He does not conform to any outside criterion. He is the criterion. He always acts according to His nature, and His nature is Holy. A lie, is an act of evil.

  • @gurumagoo I hope you're not getting the impression that i call God a liar. But actually there is good in lying, depending on the situation. Suppose you are being chased by someone with a gun, and i see where you went, but he asks me where you went. Do i tell him where you went so he can shoot you, or do i lie and maybe point to a different direction to save you? what is the higher purpose?

  • The idea of God which you seem to prefer is like a friend who acts one way around one group of people, and another way when around you. Everyone has known the kind of person I'm talking about. He's the guy who says what he needs to say and acts the way he needs to act to fit in. You can never really know a person like this because they are never the same, and you can never really trust them. People like this are deeply insecure and deceit is second nature to them. God is not two-faced.

  • If you were familiar with the Bible, having read it yourself, you would know that Christ was a Jew, and Jews live by the Law of Moses, the Torah. Being a perfect Jew, living in perfect obedience, Christ celebrated Passover. This is an established fact directely related through the Scriptures. Furthermore, he would have done this each year of his life. Passover includes the sacrifice of an unblemished lamb or goat and eating it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. Jesus ate meat. Case closed.

  • Lies...Jesus in fact feed more than 10,000 people fish diners on top of every other evidence!

  • Jesus is fiction so who gives a damn

  • @lovebigboobs29 Jesus was a real person. We have evidence of this, especially the rise of Christianity. Jews did not believe in a messiah that could die, yet there they were following jesus even after his supposed death. Why would they be willing to die for something they found to be a lie? The fact christians exist is proof because it's so dramatically different than what jews were taught, that he has to have been a real person, otherwise why adopt the faith of a dead man?

  • @zenthoa Give me a break there's no proof of anything like that. People want some crap to believe in. The bible causes structure and rules for some. Me I live my own life and worship nobody real or fiction. Jesus is nothing but a story.

  • @lovebigboobs29 Did you ever do research on jesus? Multiple books that don't come from the bible talk about him. And like i said, the jews were a people of tradition, the disciples would have been killed had they brought a story up like that. And they knew this, yet they continued to do it. Why would they do that if jesus wasn't real? Not to mention as i said before, jews did not believe in a messiah that could die, it would take something incredible to change that belief. Sorry, jesus was real.

  • @zenthoa LOL believe what you want. But there's no way Jesus is real. The story is too fictional to be real. A virgin giving birth. Him rising from the dead. It can't happen.

  • @lovebigboobs29 I posted it once and i'll post it again."There exists no document from the ancient world witnessed by so excellent a set of textual and historical testimonies, and offering so superb an array of historical data on which an intelligent decision may be made. An honest [person] cannot dismiss a source of this kind. Skepticism regarding the historical credentials of Christianity is based upon an irrational [i.e. antisupernatural] bias."-Dr. Clark H. God can do all things, good day.

  • @zenthoa lolOf course god can. All fictional characters can do all things. Santa can fly a sleigh and slide down a chimney and Superman can fly. Thats why its called fiction. There's nothing real about Jesus. He is as real as the Easter Bunny lol. Good Day to you too.

  • @lovebigboobs29 You know, there's a question i use an awful lot on atheists, and they can't seem to answer it...ever. It's because it proves god is real and atheism is stupidity, would you like to take it on?

  • @zenthoa Sure....... If its how the universe was created I have no answer for it. I do believe in a higher power but I believe nothing the bible says or of jesus born to a virgin. I dont believe in if you are bad you go to hell nonsense.

  • @lovebigboobs29 I actually don't need to now, the point of it was to show you're a fool, but you did that yourself. "lolOf course god can. All fictional characters can do all things." You said, yet you also just said "I do believe in a higher power" That shows more than i need to. Anyway, What could cause the jews to adapt such a radical faith, of a dying messiah, risk their life (such claims were seen as blasphemy and punished by death), if he were not real?

  • oh gimme a break...seaweed?!

When you have limited choice of foods (no supermarkets with vital wheat gluten in those days), you'll eat what is available. Vegetarian no...pescatarian more likely.

  • Comment removed

  • Man is supposed to eat meat point blank. Humans have been hunting and eating meat way before Jesus or Christianity. It's all over cave walls in Europe. Hell, humans would not have survived if it were not for eating meat. Humans don't hibernate, so how long do you think we could have lived off vegitable matter that does not grow in the winter?

  • The post on this wall proves one thing, that Vegitarians are so insecure they have to post videos making up lies about Jesus and eating meat.

  • @2hottie69isBACK first off, long is a relative term. Secondly, is says in the Bible that one should grow their hair and not cut it and be especially spiritual, ie the Oath of the Nazerite. See also the story of Sampson and Delilah, Sampsons strength came from his hair... As for the fish miracle, I have heard that "fish" is a mistranslation and even if it isnt, doesnt mean that Jesus himself ate fish. Jesus also promoted an adultress to live, does that mean he was an adulterer? No.

  • 6:20 in the video, it quotes genesis 1 : 29, the problem is that this video is using it improperly.

genesis 1 : 29 was talking about before original sin, before original sin everyone was vegetarian, there was no killing.

Jesus already existed at the time of creation so yes, Jesus must have been in theory a vegetarian but then he wasnt a human at that time. so no he wasnt a vegetarian.

After original sin people covered their privates and flesh eating began.

Jesus encouraged eating fish as well.

  • That Jesus on the picture is probably vegetarian

but the Jesus of the Bible didn't have long hair since the bible says long hair for men is 'shameful'

If Jesus was vegetarian then the Fish miracle wouldnt be in the Bible

  • For many christians, major stumbling blocks are the belief that Christ ate meat and the many references to meat in the new testament. But close study of original Greek manuscripts shows that the vast majority of the words translated as "meat" are TROMPHE,BROME that simply mean "food" or "eating". The original Greek word translated to "meat" is PHAGO ehich means only "to eat". Thus its true that Jesus was a vegetarian.

  • @Aditi1605 Ah right, this explains the passover lamb that god called to be sacrificed and eaten. Yep makes total sense, jesus was a vegetarian that just happened to eat lamb. Seriously, that is the glaring flaw in your whole argument. I see you guys going "It's not this" or "there's no proof of this", completely and totally ignoring the passover which all jews were called to eat. They were to kill the lamb, and eat it with bitter herbs and unleavened bread. it makes me wonder about you guys.

  • @zenthoa You are certainly wrong because there are proof of this, i don't have it. But i understand Greek and made many research about it and have come to know that truly Jesus was a vegetarian...You should make research yourself and see before talking bla bla bla....

God never permit us to eat disgusting things..like meat!

  • @Aditi1605 Excuse me? The torah specifically says god commanded everyone to eat unleavened bread and lamb with bitter herbs. I know history, i know my facts, YOU however clearly do not. Any hebrew, any scholar, anyone with a knowledge of the past will tell you of the passover and that it consisted of lamb. It was to be praising god for leading them out of egypt. I no longer need to wonder about you now, i now KNOW you're making things up.

  • @Aditi1605 Second reply. The fact that passover is STILL celebrated is also a large contradiction to you. Because it STILL consists of lamb, and is STILL celebrated on the 15th of nisan. I suggest you learn the hard truth, jesus ate meat. Whether you like it or not, passover was a yearly thing and ALL jews had to be part of it, god himself commands it. If you were to ignore this, you would be sinning against god. Are you saying jesus rebelled against his own father? No? Then deal with it.

  • @zenthoa They eat lamb when they celebrate because they misinterpreted the message of Jesus.

Truly man is the king of beasts, for his brutality exceeds theirs. Meat eaters live by the death of others. Meat eaters are burial places! Meat eaters are tastebud....God will never punish me, i believe in God and i will encouraging people to stop being murderers and stop eating stale creatures because God would never permit us to eat something innocent, who feel pain when killed.

  • @Aditi1605 "They eat lamb when they celebrate because they misinterpreted the message of Jesus" Jesus wasn't even born when passover started. Not to mention the jews DON'T THINK JESUS IS THE MESSIAH, hence they have no reason to follow his words. It started RIGHT AFTER the jews left egypt, thank you for showing exactly how much you know on this, sorry, god said to eat the lamb and burn what remained before morning. Passover breaks your argument, sorry.

  • @zenthoa I know you meat eaters would never agree...but i know what i'm saying is only truth. I'm not doing it for you meat eaters, because God will surely punish you for committing such a big sin...i'm just trying to save the lives of the animals who are being tortured by you meat eaters, because i feel pity on them. It hurts me when they are being killed. If you don't want to stop this then don't..because its not me who God will punish....i'm just trying to make this world more peaceful.

  • @Aditi1605 No, you're saying a biased corrupted version of YOUR truth. I gave evidence against your argument, and as soon as i did, you lost. You did not provide any evidence against mine, you began to use your own personal opinion to explain why god "Shouldn't or wouldn't" do this or that, such claims are no where founded on god. You can like animals if you want, save them etc. Whatever, i don't care. But don't base your lie on the bible. Everything in and outside of it contradicts you.

  • @zenthoa I will never accept defeat...even if i don't have a certain proof. I'm not giving my opinions because its a fact. Its not necessary to have a proof to speak truth...i'm not lying thats it. Your proofs are wrong...as i said Christians misinterpreted the concept....let it be you would never understand.

I just hope that God make you realise the truth one day before its too late. I'm not doing it for myself or for any pleasure..but just to respect God to whom we are not obeying.

  • @Aditi1605 Your post is that of a child. Truth is only found through evidence, you say yourself you have no evidence. If you were speaking the truth, don't you think there'd be more evidence on your side than mine? Do not attempt to take the roll of holier than thou, for i have taken your argument and broken it. You scream, rant and rave because you can't handle the truth. To say something without evidence is opinion and nothing more, you've failed. I shall now go and eat a burger from BK.

  • Genesis 27:3

  • A shame that PETA is resorting to using myths to support their stance...

  • @ushtemanushteunchaga You know anyone with any knowledge of history and it's evidence would laugh at you, were you to say jesus was a myth. Right? We have tons of evidence of his existence, there are even books that talk about him, how he looked and acted. That don't even come from the bible, hell, one of them was written by a pagan.

  • @zenthoa . there are zero eyewitness accounts of the mythological figure named Jesus Christ.... A lie is still a lie no matter how many people believe it...

  • @ushtemanushteunchaga LOL! So that's your argument, no matter who says it, it's a lie. You have some deep seeded denial issues buddy. The evidence found confirms that jesus DID exist as a man. There are too many books speaking about him for him to be a myth, there's also the logical problem, as i said one of the book writers was a pagan. He was well known for it too. Jesus spoke lowly of them, why would he further a myth? Sorry, jesus did exist, denying it doesn't help you.

  • @ushtemanushteunchaga Second comment, there are also the disciples. We have confirmed their existence. Now the disciples saw jesus crucified, if jesus never came back. Why did they continue to spread his name and word, EVEN THOUGH being christian would have them killed in some of the places they went to? Are you saying they would die for a lie? That is your logic? There's a simple question that blows away atheism, and supports god. Many atheists hear of it but none can answer it, want to try?

  • @zenthoa All lies even if you are impressively regurgitating them... still lies. I am not going to convince you of anything just as you arent going to convince me. Bygones. You keep believing, I'll keep thinking. Be well.

  • @ushtemanushteunchaga You're pretty funny, you know you're wrong and have nothing to back up your statements. While i do, and something that can destroy your faith in ahteism. LOL! Maybe one day you can evolve from a jelly fish, into something, i unno. With a back bone?

  • @zenthoa I typically dont respond to Westboro Baptist types because there is no helping them. You are intelligent enough to be insulting and nasty (learned behavior in church perhaps?) but it baffles me that you will not use that intelligence to free your mind.

Google "historicity of Jesus Christ"; watch YouTube's David Fitzgerald Skepticon 3 "Examining the Existence of a Historical Jesus". Free your mind or at least try to live closer to what your jesus preached...

  • @ushtemanushteunchaga Me and WBBC have drastically distant views. I'm 'nasty' because i dislike cowardice and ignorance, you happen to have both. I used my intelligence to learn that there is infact a god, YOU are the one who is scared to learn it. I asked you if you could answer the question or at least try, but you didn't. Why? Because you know if this question REALLY is as bad for atheism as i say it is, you don't want to come face to face with it. Not a SINGLE atheist has ever answered it.

  • @ushtemanushteunchaga Second reply, as i said before. Anyone who is respected in the fields that delve into history, will tell you jesus existed. Why do you think the people who go "Jesus never existed" don't get as highly praised as those who say he does? Because people think they're insane. Only the truly desperate atheists try to deny that. Jesus preached atheists are fools.. Oh and since atheism has been in favor of bestiality as of late, you think you'll marry a goat soon?

  • Anyone who wants to tell me that god was against meat eating; answer my questions

If god is against people eating meat, why did he command that the Israelite people eat of lamb along with their passover meals, and tell them that none of it should be left by morning; to eat it from the head to the innards?

If god is against eating meat why did he feed the Israelite people quail, when free?

If god is against meat why does he say "Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you" In genesis?

  • jesus was perfect in every way. never sinned, and cared for all. and died for our sins. but he ate meat? really people. he cared for humans but gave 2 shits about animals. for all you dumb asses that disliked this. use you fucking brain. If you really believe in jesus you should know he would not allow for the killing of anything. Use your brains people. it's called commen sense. the forbidden fruit was animals. it wasn't a fruit at all.

  • @jeremyelliott1 EVER read the bible? Jesus ate meat MULTIPLE times. He even tells his friends and family to join him so they can eat THE PASSOVER LAMB! not to mention it is widely known he ate fish, unless fish is no longer meat i would say that counts too. And no, the forbidden fruit wasn't an animal, when god says don't eat something he makes it clear what it is. God never says do not eat this animal, but means a plant. You are the true dumbass here. Pathetic.

  • @zenthoa you are mistaken my friend. jesus dispised people that killed. killing is a sin. or am I mistaken. Doesn't it say treat others the way you want to be treated? It doesn't say treat other humans the way you want to be treated. it says others which include animals. Plus i highly doubt jesus would approve of hateful name calling.

  • @jeremyelliott1 "Then came the first day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. And Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, "Go and prepare the Passover for us, so that we may eat it."" (Luke 22:7-8) read the bible There ARE plenty other verses like this which i can post if you need. You are VERY mistaken, god called for sacrafices and jesus did the same. He called for killing animals in gods name MANY times, and does this THROUGH OUT the bible.

  • If you are a Christian or other similar religion, pm me! I am trying to start to start broadcasting information to our churches about vegetarianism/veganism. We can provide information, be it papers, opening booths, or whatever, knowledge is power, and all life should be held sacred since they were made by God! We should not let are fellow believers live in ignorance. Just like how Christianity was a slow seed growing in us, we must make awareness of the forms of compassion to God’s creation.

  • by the way, i 4 got 2 ask - why remove the chickens' beaks? why would they want them 2 starve? why do ppl have 2 do things like this? i think those who work at slaughter houses are sadists. only a sadist could do such things. they are sick, twisted ppl who should be locked away from society & never be allowed out. just be cause people eat meat, that is no excuse 4 treating animals horribly. i hope the ppl who do these things are reincarnated as animals in the very places they now work.

  • @qwyzl You realize peta kills most of if not every animal they get into their care right? They do it because "They were tainted by humans" No joke, go look it up.

  • @zenthoa i've heard they euthanize most of the animals they "save". just as a man can be judged by the company he keeps, so too can a group of people be judged by how they behave over all. may be the members of peta should keep that in mind.

  • lying is no way 2 get ppl 2 do what you want. it's great peta shows how animals are treated; but lying 2 make ppl do what you want is wrong. a better solution is if these corporate slaughter houses were wiped out & farming went back 2 the "moms & pops" as it were, WITH corporate support, with OUT deceit. the little guy with a FEW head of cattle, sheep, what ever - NOT THOUsands of head of cattle, etc. if ppl didn't let their greed out weigh their common sense it would be much better.

  • You are a bunch of damned idiots. Jesus was not a vegetarian. The people who are leaving out and adding to the Bible are all having yours name stricken from the book of life.

  • Hitler was also vegetarian, but I don't see anyone arguing against vegetarianism because of that (and if you are, you're a dumbass).

Yes, I hate to invoke Godwin's law, but in this case, I'm showing the fallacy of argument from authority.

  • OK AT 4:16 HE SAYS SCRIPTURE 11...JUSUS WAS A VEGETARIAN......WHAT PART OF THE BIBLE WAS IT IN??????????????? i really would be happy to see this in the bible. Thank you!

  • It says in the Bible Jesus never sinned and was a good Jew. Part of Passover is eating a lamb so Jesus did eat meat

  • Jesus was never a vegitarian. He ate fish and lamb meat. Just like the people in that area had.

  • Its a great video, i have been veggie for some twenty years, the best thing i ever did. Never had any problems with health, feel great. I think this video will inspire many people to give up this barbaric habit of slaughtering animals. Thankyou.

  • Interesting

  • Concidering Jesus is fiction who cares what he so-called was. Meat is awesome

  • Great video! I've been vegetarian for 10 years and it's changed my life and the lives of others :D

  • - altough we still Love the man! =D

  • It is not in the nature of a human to eat and animal, unlike bears ,lions etc we dont have claws, sharp jaws, the speed, and definetly not the instinct! If we had the prey instinct we wouldnt live with animals like we do now......... People are sceptic as to whether animal products are actually beneficial to our health when it is clear that no vegetable, fruit or grain has harmful effects. Look up 'Forks and Knives' and 'Earthlings' . Whether jesus was a vegetarian or not is not so important

  • @xAshleemarie We're omnivores. We eat what we can get. Do we have claws, sharp jaws and things like that? No, but we do have a body that evolved limiters because we were over 30 times stronger than those animals. And people are allergic to certain plants fruits and grains, aren't allergic reactions harm? Just as some people literally can't eat meat. We hunted and gathered in our caveman days, the earliest existence of human life proves this. It is our nature to eat to survive.

  • @zenthoa Yes, you have a fair arguement. and my biggest pet peeve is closed mindedness - so i do take into consideration what you are syaing. I usually dont use the 'we were disigned to eat this or that' arguement because people are so divided on the issue. i personally dont eat animal products, for many many reasons.

  • @xAshleemarie Well that's fine, that is your life and i won't try and force you into a meat eating habit.

  • @zenthoa I ate meat for 17 years.... Have only been eating this way since November 2010. But by far am very happy with my decisin. i appreciate your respect....

  • @xAshleemarie Becuase the time has changed, it's 2000-age now which means going around with iphones being cool, and playing games. Did you actually believe you plants and fruit at the 1500-1800 age?

  • Although, I believe it is better to avoid meat in general if you can avoid it. Which as a person of free will, you can avoid meat. Choose to reduce the amount of meat in your diet or remove it all together. The killing animals for meat is kind of the opposite of a spirit of compassion. The various religions all allow Vegetarianism... So why not treat our world with some compassion... you'd have the world treat you wiht compassion so follow the Golden Rule.
