  • @MeeraaaK I take some pics like this too and I use just the camera. the result isn't as proffesional as it can get with pro gear. First of all your background will get greyish because of the flash but this can on some shots be fixed in f.ex photoshop.

    I have seen quite a few smoke tuts on-line now, but I really appreciated the way you concentrated on the different style you can achieve in Photoshop and some simple flipping and inverting.

  • hello, how will i deal with the noise. you see, after taking the photo of the smoke and placing it in photoshop, i noticed that the smoke texture is not that fine and there's a lot of noise to it. please help.

  • 8:57 you should call that photo the kiss of the queen cause it looks like lips and the top and bottom middle look like a queen with a crown

  • it's in adobe camer raw. if you have a raw image (cr2, nef, dng) it will open it in camera raw. you can also open jpgs as camera raw files, just go to file > open as , and from the drop down select camera raw file and you can open any type of image. have fun

  • Yes always use adjustment layers, and smart layers. Nondestructive photoshopping is the way to work.
