Great news on the PET ~ take the Chemo and meds for as long as needed; if you're up to it. I did direct radiation on one side, too.

It's a LONG journey ... it is a battle ~ emotionally more so than physically, for me!

The multitude of Dr's took care of the physical and I followed orders ... The emotional part isn't as "organized" and can change in a split second! Try to rest & relax when you can! Scream, talk about it when you want to talk ~ tell a stranger ~ or don't talk if you don't want

@turksct ~ I'm here for you if you need a friend that's been there ... remember, their is NO RIGHT OR WRONG ... you do what is BEST FOR YOU! I push people away ... that's what I do ... but if you have friends (family) that is willing to stick by you, even when you push, cherish it and let them help you! I HATE to ask for help ~ but I had to an so will you!! My "male friend" left after the diagnosis but my BEST FRIENDS, stayed right with me ~ tubes & driving me back & forth... LOVE THOSE PEOPLE!
