  • i bought a 1998 rmx250 a couple of weeks back and im starting to rebuild it but i was wondering did you puta bigger piston in it or just left the stock one on cheers

  • ur suppose to vary the rpms jus a bit at all times off the break in because id bet my next pay check ur piston has a good amount of blow by i like to turn the idle completly off (take out the idle screw) so im varying the rpm's but not revving it not that it matters and im not tryin to be a dick i prom is and i did a shit load of typos i know

    Well yeah...be pretty stupid to get it back together and screw something simple like that up. 

  • @Evmoius i wasent been funny in anyway i was more asking because im rebuilding my 2 stroke and as it has a self lube system i dint know if it was nessacery but i will lube the piston on installation now thanks bud good video

    My bad, Yeah I would lube it up real good first. This isn't only for break in but also because it will take a while for enough oil to build up and disperse in there from the combustion alone. Be sure to saturate the crank bearings and all the rod bearings along with sleeve and piston rings too.
