I work as a healthcare assistant in an accident and emergency department. I have seen patients die, I have washed there bodies down before they go off to the morgue, I have had a woman die in front of me while I helped her onto a commode... 1 thing I have become absolutely stead-fast convinced of is that there is no god. Death is not pretty, it's a difficult, often painful end of someones life. CONTINUED...
There's no "afterlife" - no bullshit waiting for you when you've died. You just DIE. And I don't think that death is nessesarily a bad thing. More often than not, it's a release from all of the pain and suffering life throws at us. But what sort of "god" would allow such suffering? No god that I would be willing to worship, that's for sure.
@johnpearceonearth :: Have you read "God's Problem" by Bart Ehrman? He is a bible scholar who became an agnostic after realizing all the suffering in the world. I too worked in hospitals and have seen plenty of people die. And I see death as a welcome and very real part of being a human being. Every one does it. But unlike you, I have the realization that life continues, as evidenced by NDEs and psychic contacts. You don't have to worship God to believe in a Creator.

I wondered what the garment was and she said, "A great lily that is in presence of God that they make clothing out of!" There is no eveidence that there is no heaven or hell. God IS real and so are both of those places. The only evidence you may have against it is that you can't see it so its not there. Well with the naked eye you can't see oxogyen, microscopic organisms or far away galaxies. I just hope that the day you find out God is real its not to late for you. I hope to see you there. you cannot depend on science and evidence to know if heaven and hell are real because God created all things even science. So if God dosent want humans or any other mortal to even have evidence of heaven or hell then we will have no evidence. If we all saw hell then people would not have faith and worship God for thier own selfish reasones.
i beleave this so much i love god and my grandma always tought me about god and jesus and she was waiting to go to heaven to be with my grandpa and know she is there with him and i know they are so happy i will see them later in life. god is awsome!

Those people might have good intentions, but they describe a phenomenon that is not totally understood by science YET. Progress in understanding the brain is made constantly.
There is no reason to fill the gap in our understanding with god. Peace !!
Things like this you cannot make up. People are always saying that they need proof, well there's your proof! If near death was truely an hallucionation, wouldn't they vary? But oh, the description continue to be the same. Skeptics need to accept God instead of pushing him away.
