  • sounds like night train, nice riff though. Cool guitar! Whats it made of?

  • sick guitar and thx for the tips

  • Is that a glass-guitar?

  • There's no C note in an A chord. I believe you mean an A minor?

  • nice guitar

  • Nice lessons dude. I have a request. I'm into the somewhat new genre of hardcore/metalcore guitar and I was wondering if you could post some lessons on that. Thanks. I'm trying to aim for an All That Remains, August Burns Red, and Bullet For My Valentine kinda sound.

  • can you by any chance teach some songs or some cool riffs that i could use to show of to my friends

  • @fudge700 check out #11 from the solo technique series. This should give you some cool tricks for your buds.

    -Neal

  • @Guitartricks cheers neal

  • check out my channel mor nice rock/metal covers subscribe if you like :)

  • Got some problems with my Digital Delay DD-7, I don't know a good settings for itfor solos need some help here thanks Neal

  • @nine22rock

    I use a DD-7 too. Here's what works for me:

    E.LEVEL=8O'CLOCK

    F.BACK=8O'CLOCK

    D.TIME=11O'CLOCK

    MODE=800MS

    if you use distortion the delay is louder, if clean not so loud. This setting is for distortion.

  • Cool guitar man! And thank you for the lesson! :D

  • Ugh horrible tone

  • your cool.

    seriously

  • @Peeze16 Thanks Peeze!

  • Is that opening and ending riff using the same theory as the one the lesson was on? I mean is it using common notes in the chord progression? Or were you just showing off?

  • It's not but it probably should've been. The opening riff is based off a D to G pattern and I'm using the pentatonic scale. The thinking behind this riff is more like a bass line but it sounds cool as a guitar riff.

    ~Neal

  • That's one hot guitar.

  • thanks! :)

  • god Neal, you're lessons are true and outrageous! you never stop amazing me bro, Rock On!

  • dude.. Got some problems with my distortion. I don't know a good settings for it. My solos are bit dirty and noisy.. and my riffs is not that visible to hear.. Its sounds like a distorted can. need some help here..

  • I don't know what amp you're using but you can try backing the gain and bass off a bit. Drop the gain to about 6/7, set bass, mid and treble to about 5 and then adjust each, one at a time to get a feel for how your amp is responding. Also, if you're running a distortion pedal into a distorted amp, it will sound like that.

    ~Neal

  • um...muting strings right ??

  • Dude your good but u need to teach a cool guitar riff, use tabbs, like help us do a cool riff

  • that is one sick guitar

  • maybe a lesson on tap harmonics?

  • Could you do a lesson on how to do decent hammer-on and pull-offs?

  • This is a good request, thank you!
