  • Awesome lift. It's not common to see reps that high with that much weight. I personally always work my leg presses high reps at high weight. My best so far was fully loaded (29 plates at my gym) for 17...

  • well obviously thats where your wrong. Just because someone is "bigger" doesnt mean they know more then another person. thats where you will always fail, always following around the biggest gym rat and going with the same workout hes doing. yeah thats right. see how far that will take you.

  • 1.5 years ago he posted a video of this same exercise/same weight and got 6 reps. He was going about 4 inches lower in that video, but I still think he made huge progress in any case.

  • The depth is actually about the same... the camera angle is just different.

  • The camera angle is different, but I'm going by how far the sled moves past the movable piece that racks it, which I think isn't affected much by the angle since they are so close to each other. I see a 3-4 inch difference. I could be wrong, but take another look first.

    Maybe your form changed because you've gotten bigger over the last 1.5 years and your range of motion has been reduced.

  • It is a different foot placement. Wide and high for 6 reps and high and close for 17.

  • yea blake is a cool dude... I go to the same gym as he and I saw him leg press 25 plates... with his brother sitting on top of the press machine. That was just his warm up...

  • I worked legs with him, and it is impossible to try and keep up with him on squats. his endurance fibers are amazing, so he is made for higher rep sets.
