The host of the tournament competes, and wins loot? What the hell? Wow, i have seen it all. If i where you Matt, i would go to their next event and kick some butt, ( on the table that is), and then tell them to keep the loot.
Jesus, what a bunch of douchebaggry! I think it is really bad form when the host of a tournament competes in it, even to the point when they bend or change the rules to benefit themselves.
If that store were in my area, I would boycott it. Money speaks the loudest, and I would convince anyone willing to listen to no longer spend one more dollar supporting such a shady store.

Power-gamers/tournament mindset, main reason I don't go to tournaments anymore. Game is best played at home or with friends - that is just my opinion mind you.
That said - You should have obviously won many awards. It looked pretty damn shaddy man, your army is painted spectacular, and to not even give you THAT when you clearly should have won. Isn't right. Something as obvious as kill points for transports seems pretty silly to. Eh, I'm sure you own next tournament somewhere else.
In all honesty i agree with you guys...and yes! You should get the majority of the club there and just wipe the floor...that way they will no not to mess with the Warmaster and his buddies!
Im really sorry about the dissapointment at the tournament i had fun besides the whole transport thing.ya it looked like they didnt want us to win at there store i had like so much points then they listed on there forums.they listed us as the top 4 players with the most points but put me and james some were at like 11th place.bullshit right.hope you guys arent mad at me for recomending this tourney i havent gone been there beforehand i should have once again sorry and hope your not mad :)
Andrew, We had a great time! Win Lose or Draw, it doesnt really matter. It was just some drama to talk about over dinner! Keep up the good work and let us know about more tournaments. This weekend is a no go for me!
