I am SO excited for the movie.

HOWEVER. I hate the people playing the vampires[Especially Edward; terrible choice of actor!!] and Bella is too pretty. I like her, just Bella is not all that pretty, rather awkward looking. So that was also a bad move on their part.

okay the story isn't that bad, there is a lot of emotion in it, but the writing is absolutely cringe-worthy. the first book reads clumsily and i could definitely tell it was her first novel. "with a deep breath I sealed away my heart." i dunno maybe it's just me but lines like that are embarrassingly corny. and the second book is retarded, it's like she wrote it, realized "shit this is like half as long as the first one," and added in a bunch of stuff in the middle to drag it out.

seriously it shouldnt take 250-some-odd pages for bella to figure out that whatshisface is a werewolf. i saw that coming in the first one. maybe i'm used to more sophisticated writing than gushy teenage romances, but i hated the books. also, anyone who compares stephenie meyer to stephen king is very wrong. stephen king is a genius, stephenie meyer is a corny romance author. the movie is going to blow because kristen stewart is stiff and unnatural and robert pattinson is unmemorable.

you have to remember though, the actors don't always have a choice in how to portray the characters. That's the director's right, and ultimately, the producer's. Sometimes, they have to make a choice as to stick to EXACTLY as the book says, or to use artistic license to make it more suited to the theatre. Come on, movies have never been exactly like the book. And movies cannot portray accuratly what a book can all the time.

I think that the casting could have been done better, I like Edward but I don't really like Bella which is a shame because I love the character, I think she looks the part, but acting wise she doesn't do Bella justice.
