Vanilla Fudge is still 10000000 times better than more half the bullshit out there right now! Fucking amazing after all these years! These groovy cats fucking put to shame all these so called wannabe artists whom can play a single instrument nor sing shit!
Nice to see a band like this make a national TV show. Hopefully some of today's kids will see this and understand that us old geezers know how to ROCK, and without a bunch of electronic crap. A legend behind the drum kit instead of an electronic, synthesized, faggot drum sound.
that wig the keyboardist is wearing looks real even live! i saw this same line up at a small bar in a small nor cal town. i can usually spot a rug a mile away, but until i saw the 68 ed sullivan show with them on, i never would have suspected its a wig.
I hope that some kids take a look at this and check out the Vanilla Fudge first album...probably the best rock music ever recorded. There are covers on that album that make the originals sound rinky dink. Keep playing VF. We love you.
Tim Bogart, the bassist, had a motorcycle accident back in 2005. He's got good days and days when playing is out of reach. As a band, there as cool as 4 guys can be after knowing each other for damn near 50 years.
Vinnie Martell ROCKS! Mark Stein ROCKS! Carmine Appice ROCKS! They are as good as they were 43 years ago! Now THAT's what I call kicking it! This band could sell arenas in the late 60's....THIS...is rock music!

The guy between the girl and the guy, to our right of Appice's head...is the only guy who I can see that is really really really getting into it. The others are clapping like old people do at a Michael Bolton show. Fudge sound great!
@karmices They are the best as long as you have someone carrying them. I have carried plenty in bands I have played. C3 is worse as it is a full cabinet and no place to grab when dolly is not possible.

There never was a "Bogart", except maybe in Casablanca. Tim's last name is Bogert.

I saw the original Vanilla Fudge during their debut tour at the Alexandria Roller Rink.
This brought back memories of good times and happy trails :-)
I think the opening act was Ultimate Spinach

The fact that Mark is playing a Hammond B3 still and not some 468 in 1 keyboard like every other act is awesome!
