  • love the way she moves.

  • this music is thebomb.com

  • my friend has her music(:

  • Hollie Vise v Alyssa Beckerman....

  • Yes,gymnastics should be ALL dance and no tumbling at ALL.

  • her tumbling may not be that great, but her grace and artistry was unmatched that year, and what tumbling she did, she did well!

  • One of my favorite floor routines of all time. Excellent dance and presentation. Just Awesome.

  • my favorite eva!!!!!

  • hollie is sooo nice! i went to the WOGA camp and she was just soo much more friendly than the other gymnasts! GO HOLLIE!!!

  • @politicallycorrect14 i no!! like i was at igc n she was there n she wasw soooo nice my counclers said tht wen thy met nastia shawn thy werent very nice! i luv hollie!!

  • Go Vise family! she is my cuz!

  • I'm sad she never got her Olympics either.. especially being a reigning World Champ too! She would be like a predecessor to Nastia Liukin--less power but unbelievable line and elegance! USA had no real dancers that year... only powerhouse tumblers.

  • why she couldn't go to the olympics?

    she's such an awesome gymnast

  • She had hurt her back and she fell at the selection camp. It was a pity, USA could have used her on at least bars at the Olympics. She never had her chance to shine.

  • I absolutely looooove this routine. Her dance is awesome and I wished she had made the 2004 olympic team. I love her flexibility.

  • @keishaloveschelsea im related

  • the lady who made hollie's routine made mine...but she did WAY better on hollie's than mine!! this next year im looking for a hip/hop rap music...!!! lol

  • Cool !! what does your floor rootin consist of ? wat kind of tumbling passes do you do ?

  • Lol. Everytime she tumbles, it makes a bouncy noise. haha. Ya I agree she would be good at rythetmic.

  • est-ce que quelqu'un connait le nom de sa musique s'il vous plait???

  • "Libertango" - Bond

  • Beautiful dance! Definitely the best of any gymnast.

  • i think hollie should have been a rythemic gymnast.

  • ye your right

  • definitly, she has that natural flexablility...not to mention, she's not as strong as say shawn or carly...she needs more muscle, but she wouldn't in rythmic...

  • yeah her dance is amazing, but other then some of the tumbling shes a great gymnast!

  • She certainly had the flexibility, but she needs better turns to be good in rhythmic. They do like triple and quad turns; Hollie's double turn even looks weak.

  • aww i can do most of the :-)

  • i wanted this as my floor music but instead have a different one

  • omg this is my music except a different version i didn't know this used to be her music

  • 2003 start value= 9.7, 2008 start value= about 15.4, very interesting

  • She really should have gone for a clean 9.6 routine with a 2.5 twist, or increased her start value using dance elements (ie. cat leap double + cat leap 1.5 for 0.2 bonus, triple turn for 0.1, etc) I don't think I've ever seen her successfully rotate and get credit for a triple full.

  • 2) Gorgeous dance. In modern floor routines dance and artistry has become of such minor importance. If an athlete can throw the big skills, the overall artistry deductions are minute in the grand scheme of 15 and 16 scores. They need to upgrade the values of overall composition and artistry possible, .5 instead of .2 or .3, to reintroduce the importance of dance to the floor exercise.

  • yeah artistry has been reduced to awkward poses and steps into the corner for the next tumbling pass...hollie only does three passes here and nowadays doing four passes is almost mediocre the best gymnasts on floor are doing five....

  • 2 things

    1) at our gym we either bring our coach a song we'd like and she tries to splice it, or we pick from the preapproved list.

  • alot of the gymnasts from WOGA have really good choreography for their floor routines.

  • well the way it worked at my gym was we'd get a bunch that the coach had approved of and then pick one from there. usually the music fit the style of choreography they could make. me personally, and lots of other girls to didnt even like their music but we had to live with it. i dont know how it works there though.

  • Ok, thanks for the help.

  • gymnastics dance is COMPLETELY different than actual "dancing" i practice at least 4 hours a day and i hardly get my all my skills and conditioning done. being strong & able to get through your routines is much more important. yes, presentation is important too, but i dont go to the gym to dance..if i did, i wouldnt be a gymnast, so shutup hollie is an awesome dancer and gymnast and if you dont like that then stop watching her videos and watch videos about dancing and not gymnastics. :)

  • i love this floor routine. Hollie Vise really knew how to move, to bad she had such a difficult time always getting that triple twist around.

  • boring music

  • she is good and she is a good dancer just a little sloopy on her tumbling

  • She's one of U.S best dancers in my opinion

  • Wow, if you call that dance then I suppose the likes of Carly, Chellsie and Alicia are the best dancers in the world right now.

  • thats such a pretty floor routine

  • prefer nastia, performs all of them tumbles better.

  • she's so sexy

  • I'm sorry but gymnast need to work on their dance. When they say "dance", they need to dance!!! I enjoy watching gymnastics, but their dances they do are not good enough to be called dance!

  • Honey you must not watch gymnastics much. Hollie fits more dance in her routine than most gymnasts. Her leaps are breathtaking and her toe point is amazing. Her dance was all the talk on the gymnastic chatrooms that night.

    (nga01...the song is Libertango)

  • Anyway you put it, gymnast need dance training and need to improve choreography!

  • Hollie's coaches & choregrapher are Russian so their WOGA gym has daily ballet training. Remember this is gymnastics not ballet/jazz so there is little time to fit dance in. Check out Nastia Liukin (Hollie's teammate)and Shantessa Pama for other great FX routines:)

  • all the other sports should try gymnastics first and then they'll know why we have little time for dance. its a different style, a different breed of choreography.

  • There should be no excuse...the little time you do have to dance should be incorporated and done correctly then. If your using this as an excuse then maybe is because your lazy to do your dance. I have choreographed routines for national champions (acrobats). Everything was nice and clean, both the dance and the tumbling. I'm not trying to be rude, I am just stating my opinion on this particular routine.

  • yeah well she is dancing just not hiphopping or breaking. and she dosent go to gym everyday to work on her dancing..

  • No harm at all, but do u have anything against hip hop or breaking??

  • no, i like hip-hop. its just theres other kinds of styles of dancing, too.

  • hello!!

id like to see u do what we do!!

    [ima gymnast]

gymnastics dance is way diffrent than regular dancing....WTF

  • I would like to show you that with the time that you have been training, I could still do my dance and my gymnastics in an excellent combination. And to your friend up there...bteich90...I enjoy watching gymnastics, it's one of the most athletic sports there is. The dance in almost all of the routines is what bothers me. Keyword: GRACEFULNESS. Maybe gymnastics dance should be considered, gymnastics "movements".

  • i love her dance.. wow.

  • do you the name of this song or were i can find it. thank you

  • I think the name of the song is "Libertango"

  • 827 views and no comment? i think she's ok, just not too bad....
