I think the concept of this game is good and fair, but if it were to become official it should NOT be like this- it should end up being one of the most realistic modern combat shooters on the market, just to assure that the real event is portrayed in a realistic and respectful manner.

This game would of at least gotten credit for not trying to glorify the wars going on RIGHT NOW. Most other Military FPS's make the wars either look like a michael bay movie or present a one sided fantasy dribble. This game was trying to show some of the complexity of the war. Shame they cancelled it because some people whined about it. So this is bad but Hurt Locker is okay? Give me a break. They never let game devs really do what they want.
while it looks cool I definitely will not buy this because I will still be too busy with battlefield 3 and this engine looks like shit compared to frostbite there just will be no competition this game will make you feel like your playing on sega after playing BF3
@TPBXDRicky420 To be quite honest, I would buy this over BF3 because BF3 focuses more upon the truly amazing graphic capabilities whereas this game focuses solely on the content and quality of the campaign. This quality is what I look for most in videogames. I'm still buying BF3, obviously, but I don't want these guys to give up!
@grooks10 BF3 does not solely focus on amazing graphics be it its one of their focuses. Sound, and gameplay are obviously not overlooked either. BF3 will also feature a full story which will certainly be high quality as well as fleshed out multiplayer. This game is probably not getting made and if it does it will probably be worth buying. If you have BF2 on pc you should get the MOD PR(Project Reality). Very good and it has a map called Fallujah West. You will like it :)
@TPBXDRicky420 I'm sure BF3 will have a fantastic storymode, but I doubt it will be as in-depth and situationally realistic as this game, mostly because it's not based on a real war. And I actually read somewhere that this game is finished and ready for release; all they need is a publisher willing to endure the controversy. Btw, I've never actually played BF2, but I have seen videos of it and heard that it was/is one of the most fun games ever. I am really excited to see what BF3 has to offer.

Second of all, its a 3rd person game... you aren't really aiming and in reality most de' time fights take place down a street inside of a building.

Thanks to Resident Evil 4 & 5, any game that has an over the shoulder perspective and has the player shooting at hostiles in a developing country is now considered to be a "horror" game.

@dave1927p Medal of Honor was actually based on the failed Operation Anaconda (I think). They changed it up a bit because it "hit too close to home." Otherwise, it's pretty acurate as to what is going on. Btw, CoD is just the action movie version of Afganistan.

Graphics are not as important as a great story, great animations and great game play mechanics. Graphics should be the last of your worries. This game is a tribute to a real mission where many of our men lost their lives, if you want to worry about graphics over than the true story of our soldiers go somewhere else.

Actually, I have interviewed a number of Ex and current military operatives that do play video games. I asked them all about a recent game titled "Medal of Honor." One thing I did ask about was the graphics, how they liked them and how important it was to the game overall. They told me "I don't really care about the graphics, honestly, its the story that matters." If you really want to confirm such words go straight over to the medal of honor forum, and ask for any military operatives.
I also find it funny how I commented about your comment in a friendly manner, that was just straight forward and you replied "calm the fuck down" and use terms such as "no duh" You should have replied in a more, respectful manner. Just saying. I didn't find myself hostile in any way to deserve any trash talk.

This is why I want this game to come out. Its not about the politics, its about the actual soldiers. Too many people play games like Battlefield and Call of Duty (which are great games) and think they are specialists of war. When they play a game like this they will realize the real issues at hand in the modern war. You don't play for education and I get that. I respect how you support realistic games, it shows how shooting isn't just point and shoot and you cant just run around.

This game was not about graphics (though they're quite good for a small developer), it was about the experience. You'd be amazed how much good sound and voice and atmosphere does for a game environment, which, from the clips I've seen, they've mastered.

This is not true. I'll have to find the video, but it was at a convention where a developer of BREACH stated that Six Days is still going to be released. It's very recent, I believe it was GDC.

I'm British, but I don't hear much about the progress for the US apart from major assaults and so on, and making a game like this would actually make me respect the US Army a LOT more than I do at the moment, so yeah, if you're going to cancel this, ban CoD, ban the new MoH, you should also ban every single Battlefield game too, especially 1942 and Vietnam.

This game was not about graphics (though they're quite good for a small developer), it was about the experience. You'd be amazed how much good sound and voice and atmosphere does for a game environment, which, from the clips I've seen, they've mastered.

why is everyome so mad about the game, the third marines asked them to make a game to honur the sacrifices and everything that happened in fallujah, you dont see people crying about call of duty or any of those other games. like the marines asked them to help so i think that everyone else should suck it up and move on if you dont like it.These people are preserving history for petes sake!!

people, a source, that was never revealed to the public, told IGN that the game was still running, yet that is the only proof that we have that the game is still in production, the source apparently was in deep relations with atomic games, but the source never actually worked there, so, although you can get your hopes up, make sure you can still handle a crushing down, just in case

This is not true. I'll have to find the video, but it was at a convention where a developer of BREACH stated that Six Days is still going to be released. It's very recent, I believe it was GDC.

its not cancled they are making another game called breach for the 360 and at pax 10 it was displayed and while in an interview the developer was talking about 6 days and he said it was still in production.

To be honest, I'd rather want this game to come out...
I'm British, but I don't hear much about the progress for the US apart from major assaults and so on, and making a game like this would actually make me respect the US Army a LOT more than I do at the moment, so yeah, if you're going to cancel this, ban CoD, ban the new MoH, you should also ban every single Battlefield game too, especially 1942 and Vietnam.

Like giving them money and medical and other free stuff. They say they will support them but after they come home they get shit on.
