WOW gore1sm!!! If that's frozen you are talking about, that's EXPENSIVE!!!!! If it's fresh you are talking about, that's about right for us too (Orange County California's "Little Saigon"). As of Sept. 13th, 2008, we're running about $4-$5 per Lb. I just LOVE the stuff!!!!!!

It KILLS me when people waste Durian!!!!!! I was introduced to it 4 years ago (white boy that DOESN'T use a fork), it's now my favorite fruit! I can't wait to get to Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam to sample them fresh throughout my stay! Frozen where I live is between $6-$10 and fresh is about $30 or more, so fresh is definitely a treat! Either way I just love 'em!!!
