British longbows has a great range (max 12), but they are slowly shooters.

Mayans plumbed archers move and shoot faster, have more hitpoints and armor against archers. Their minus is they have lower attack.

@Skrobi91 Yup, totally agree with u. But when all techs are enabled u can develop Thumb Rings which make 'em shoot really faster (thus far better than Plumed Archers), on the other hand with all techs ON your range turns into 11 (Yeomen not avaible, but it doesn't matter at all)

@Somethingcrappy Teutons were a bitch to play against when the game first came out. Everybody wanted to do the tc rush. So it always happened, you would load into the game from the MSN lobby and there was always that asshole who insisted on being the Teutons and you couldn't start the game until someone relented. In most people's defense, when they said they wouldn't tc rush they usually didn't.

Cant beat the Turks, build loads of bombard towers around your parimeters with castles and towers giving support. Have some cavaliers or Camels on standby to attack any units out of range (longbowmen and trebs).. and when you attack, with janissaries. YOU WIN

exactly, every civ has their strengths and weaknesses. I ualways use the Japanese. They lack cavalry, but their archers, trebs, and infantry are real good. Especially the Samurai's who got a att. bonus on other unique units, which makes them the strongest infantry unique unit in the game.

Like the Samurai, the Teutonic knights are really strong, but against all units. One thing they have in common is, that they're really slow.. Quite annoying when you're against the britions or mayans.
