Great job dude. I got my Pod 2.0 about eight months ago, and after all this time I am able to tweak great tones. I have found if you use it as a tone shaper with your other pedals, and split the signal into an (A/B) box, you can blend it in to create your own tone. Trick is to make small movements with the effects and amp models, and save many versions as you zero in on what sounds good for clean, dirty, and Hi Gain sounds. i don't know how close and successfully "pod 2.0" models these amps and cabinets, but you nailed really really great, killer sounds out of it. congratulations!..
thats awesome..got a question...i dont own a POD but have an AX3000G korg and wondered how i 'plug it into a pc'??? i have midi cables for it but cant get 'sound' out of my pc?...how can i record it?..thanks for help anyone. shaun
hey im nt familar wit this unit but to monitor the sound through ur computor/laptop u will need to run it into the line in. depending on ur computer speakers u could take the 1/4 phones socket on ur efx unit and use and 1/8 connector to run it into the line in on ur comoutor. this is the most common way. however the sound quality will most likly nt do it justice becasue of the tiny speakers. most people use seperate frfr monitors.

for the "level output knob" is that just the volume or does that control how much of the pod goes into the amp to blend both the pod and your amp? also assuming that you have the level output on 10 would that just completely drown your amp out and 100% of your pod the only thing your using is the wattage of your amp? message me back please!

buy a Behringer USB connecter and you can use 1/4 cables enstead of MIDI cables
another try is getting a different DAW like Sonar 4 that has MIDI buses. that could be your prob bro.

Aren't you meant to switch the cab sim off when you run it through an amp?

I used the standard output of sound.
Midi serves only to transfer data, not supported by sound.
