@modwebby Yes, a radio control helicopter can fly upside down also and the blades can't collapse as they're rigidly attached to the body. Search for Rc heli 3d flight videos.

I am personally partial to helicopters with a swash plate but a limited flapping, which is what I fly in real life. I would like to see a gmod helicopter with a working tail rotor and a customizable collective range/ cyclic response, preferably while in flight, so that the pilot could have a mode for dodging rpgs and stuff, and then switch modes to airlift friends across a map. I would build it myself, but I suck at wiremod.

@lordvader139 Tail rotors are easy to make, myself and 'mags have made them. However there is no need since there is no torque in Gmod. Everything else you say has been done also.

I downloaded this but i cant get it to fly can you tell me what i need to do to get it off the ground? i pressed r and i also tried holding it, what on earth could i need to do? none of the other controls work either.

@littleseanx The controls won't work until you turn it on. If Pressing R doesn't work find the E2 code on top of the helicopter behind the cockpit and wire the R input to pod controller's Alt output. The pod controller is infront of the E2.

@XXXmags yeah i just hooked up a numpad. you should make the cyclic jump back to straight when the keys are let up, it would make it a hell of alot easier to fly.

@Blaylock1988 Most of them fly about the same, this is just combined simplification of all them. It flies the best of anything I've made, you just point it where you want to fly and it doesn't do weird shit outta nowhere.
