With proper play he could have gained time and made the Queen retreat. He should have movied his Queen in front of his King. Then she wouldn't dare try it because she would lose material. True the King would move and not be able to castle but there would be time to get help and with the decisive material win the game.
This is still outstanding and I don't ever get tied of looking at this video. Thanks for sharing. The young man was annoying but still the young lady was nice enough to show him the error of his ways during the game. It seems the young man learned his mistake and will not repeat it again.

Very good. I used to use this mate when I first joined the high school chess club. After a while they finally stopped falling for it but it was fun while it lasted.

It just happened to me in the Sicilian.
