How wrong you are my friend. This is a wonderful song written by Maurice Williams, Who also did "Stay" It was the first Rock -n -roll song with a latin beat. from the 50's. Had the most sales only beaten by Elvis. I also have the 45.

Most don't know that Little Darlin ' was originally recorded by the Magnolias and the Diamond's version is considered second rate by most Doo Wop historians.

@tbnchef They're wrong. The Diamonds wipe them out. It's the spoken part. Many doo wop purists were mad at the whites ripping them off. I play fair. Diamonds wiped em out.
