Well I have my days where I'll be disappointed and I feel as if my vocals could be better. I only feel like that because I haven't practiced some in a while. For example, with my current band, I don't really do many high screams, so when I do them, their not as good as I've had them in the past... and I think it's because I don't practice them as much. It actually pisses me off lol, but if I were you, make sure you warm up before you scream, every time.

When I first started, I was doing normal vocal lessons, so basically everytime I went down into my basement to practice screaming, I would first do all of my normal vocals lessons stuff. I warmed up doing different singing exercises, mostly just singing vowel progressions. If you wanna see what I do to warm up, I guess you can try just searching "Zen of Screaming Vocal Warm Ups" , I have both of the DVDs and I used her vocal warm ups.

If you practice today, rest tomorrow and then scream again the following day... it should be good. You could practice two days in a row, but it's safer to leave a day's rest in between when your still developing skills. I used to practice normal singing and warm ups for about 30 minutes, and then I would scream for about 60 minutes (1 Hour). Now I practice for about 2 hours on my own, and about 6 hours at band practice. But I've been screaming for two years now lol
