But, of course, you're right..it was Buddy Bolden that shouted for someone to close the window.

Well, this little video is just an example from a DVD on Stefan Grossman's Guitar Workshop where I teach 7 of my arrangements of early jazz and ragtime.

I thought I heard Buddy Bolden say

nasty butt, funky butt take it away x2

I thought I heard him say

I thought I heard Judge Fogarty shout

open up that window let that foul air out x2

I thought I heard him shout
