wheel spin is not good for a proper "launch". and shifting to second to early.

wouldn't say anything but the title "how to launch an rx8" should be changed to spinning tires first to second fail. great car tho.

Nope it's 8 lol and holding it down keeps the system fro. Turning itself back on. If you have ever ran one at the drag strip you would know that the system will turn back on through a hard launch

Not bad, Mine takes 8 seconds to turn of then launch it at about 6K Rpm I would let the clutch out slower to get less wheelspin and more speed.  NIce effort though
