Neo has never been considered an underground club. Not even 30 years ago. It's not as popular as it was in the 80s, only because back then there were so few clubs in the Chicago area playing the European dance music that attracted the crowds. If it's considered "underground" now it only means they are losing business and have more competition in the area and less people who are coming into Neo.

It is called "NEO." It is Chicago's oldest nightclub. They play all the darkwave from the 80's and up. Beborn Beton, KMFDM, Bauhaus, MLWTTKK..... on the list goes. It is my home away from home.....good times!
