My goodness. Who needs a hotel! Just put some sound proofed suites at the top of the Terminal and you never have to leave the airport!

Airport look the same as everywhere else, only difference is size and people. I never thought we would end up to live in Dubai one day and i still do not know if this is a good thing or not. In my opion their culture and religion is too different to our European culture. My husband got a new well paid job in Dubai with the his company , we`ll move to live there, i am worry about their very strong rules which i find horrible, you can`t bring normal books,cd, dvd because they`ll check ich one for weeks and maybe they will not even give your goods back , same thing for all the rest that you`ll bring there. I collect antiques which are allowed but not normal statues (idols for them). I don`t like it , this is why people go there without nothing ! this is nazism !

I once missed my flight to Hong Kong and was stuck at the airport for 14 hours. It wasn't a bad thing though, this is a massive airport and exploring kept me busy for most of the time. A lot of shops so you can pretty much buy anything you want as long as you have the money.The only thing I was disappointed in was the customer service of the workers there, they were decent but not world class as the airport itself. Therefore this airportc omes only 2nd in my list,the 1st being the Changi airport

Singapore airport is the best in the world. Dubai has no facilities for arriving passengers to shower or freshin up after a long flight. They don't have any facilities for economy passengers only VIPs. Whats with that

@j61716 Changi is best from my own personal experience - of course everyones experience will differ . I Havent been to terminal 1 but have been to terminal 3 several times and was quite disappointed. Food was disappointing, not enough showers and toilets they were just overcrowded with long lines stretching outside, not enough seating, and only a several computers with internet which required a bit of a walk.
