  • i have a left hand held fly rod and im right handed so could i cast with my right hand and then switch it in to my left hand

  • Shutup????? WTF are you talking about. Look at the water yourself!!! You can't see the line at all!!! Go back to school or get a job. I have been flyfishing for over 20 years. Guess thats longer than the camera man has been operating.

  • haha go up the river and and and

  • Such poor videography. Seeing the line may have helped to understand what the guide is talking about. There was too much glare off the water to see. May have been a good video if I could have seen the presentation.

  • @nobull60 arent you just the expert ! shut the hell up.

  • Ive watched several videos by this guy, and I dont think he's a very good learning source, especially for beginners. Im not saying he isnt a good fly fisher or fishing guide... dont know, dont care... his instruction is very poor.

  • Give the dude a break. It's good enough for beginners and the info is mainly correct.

  • you strip him gently without moving the fly to much wtf?!!!!

  • he said strip IN gently wtf?

  • Q WENA

  • This is poor... poor... orvis guide?? wow

  • What's mending and how do you it? Could you please explain? Thanks a lot and greetings from Germany

  • pick ur rod tip up and pull the line upstream

  • you'r line will float down stream faster then the fly, as there is mopre resistence. So to fix this problem, you flick the line back up so it is line with the fly. This is called mending.

  • if u are facing the river sideways and the current flows from right to left, you do the false casts and then, on the final cast, just when the line is about to touch the water you lean your rod fully to the right, almost at a 90 degree angle. This deposits the line ahead of the current, allowing for more travel without drifting. Now just follow the current with the rod tip. Search for vids on how to do the extra mends after the cast, for more travel. Cheers!

  • Oh My Godness!

    THNX a lot!!!
