the way I hear it our alignment with the galactic center is a 26 million year oscillation and we won't be in it for another 13 million years. we (Earth) are at the highest or lowest peak of the oscillation now, not sure which.

@sniper23f Funny, you must have watched that in another video. Black holes do exist. They are not a hole though, they are stars which the light spectrum cannot escape. The animation near the beginning of the video shows evidence that they do exist.

We do not know what effect the gamma ray energy coming from the galaxy's core will have on the Sun's magnetic field during the eclipse. Einstein believed that it may cause the Earth's magnetic poles to flip or reverse. I however do not believe it will.

However, since the poles have flipped before, I would not exclude that possiblity. There is already substantial evidence that the magnetic and physical poles are moving. What's more they are moving at a constatnly accelerating rate.
@QuaaludeMidnight I know, the poles are slowly moving but the real question is what causes the magnetic poles to move? The last pole reversal was over 250 million years ago. The entire precession cycle takes nearly 26,000 years. The Earth crossed the galactic equator 19 times since the last pole reversal. We can clearly see that the pole reversals are not caused when the Earth crosses the galactic equator. This is, if we go by the Mayan's definition of a precession cycle.
@QuaaludeMidnight In either case the geologists do say that there is no direct pattern to the pole reversals so they do not know the cause. For all we know it could have happened from a growing Earth(see expanding Earth theory) & the shifting of the continents caused them to rotate to current locations. That is if we use the sea floor spreading as indicators for the expansion. Also note that a smaller Earth would also account for the larger plants, animals & insects before the last reversal.
@GateMessenger I see what you're saying. Needless to say there are multiple factors that make up an extinction level event such as the pole shift. As we have yet to measure the electromagnetic influence our supermassive black hole exerts on Earth during alignment, we cannot say how drastic the effect will be. All we can say with certainty is that it will have an effect. The Mayans among others did note that there were five cataclysmic events on Earth and another is on the horizon.
Nothing like this has ever happened in the past. And it's every 23,800 years there is supposed to alignment. What I'm trying to explain is that between 30,00 BC and 15,000 BC there have been no records of civilizations in the past or animals that were effected in the ways you describe.

Of course the center of the galaxy is going to be rife with radiation and gamma rays, but we are still millions of light-years away. Even now we are close enough that if something were to happen, it would have done it already. Passing through the central horizon to the Mayans meant something spiritual. They never said anything about drastic change on Earth.

The Milky Way Has An Equator (The middle) like every object, that is called the galactic equator. The Mayans believed the sun as a god that's why they sacrificed people. Since the mayans were astronomy experts they knew where the earth was heading. the earth has a certain route and aligns with the galactic equator every 2,000 years and were at the tip to going to the equator this 2012. @EldarVampire Fermi telescope has been detecting gamma rays emanating from along the galactic equator for a few years. Milagro Observatory noted the gamma rays have been increased from 500 MeV to 3.5 TeV. This means the energy is constantly flowing. The increase in eV shows, + data of Sun's bow shocked heliosphere, that the solar system is moving(see solar apex) south into the GR stream. The Sun's precession cycle causes us to cross the MW equator like a giant cross in the sky every 13K yrs.

@HardyManful Low energy gamma rays damage DNA. A de-evolution occurs, nothing good comes. In the lab the damage can be bred out & the DNA returns to normal. If the damage occurs to all subjects then they all die off, cannot reproduce. What would be the odds of the high energetic gamma rays causing changes to the DNA in every specie of animal so that each could still reproduce? I doubt anything will happen because the energy is already hitting the Earth. 1 sign of damage would be low birth rates.

@HardyManful I do not know. Current understanding of how the magnetic field is produced does not suggest that. Yet, our understanding of a magnetic field I believe is based on mere assumptions. Scientist are baffled after finding gamma ray energy entering our solar system with energy in the Tera electron volts. The source according to calculations should be less than a light year away yet no star is anywhere near that close to us except our own sun. So, they have to rethink magnetic fields now.

@Dalek1230 Nothing can be emitted from a black hole is what current theory believes yet gamma rays defy the laws, see cosmic hot spots and the mystery behind them which do not fit theory. See gamma ray jets which spew from the poles of a black hole, even inactive ones such as the one in the center of the Milky Way, see gamma ray bubbles spewing from the core of our own Milky Way. It is only speculation that high energetic gamma rays are effected by gravity. Observations tell a different story.

What is meant by Voyager 1 and 2 detected no planetary axis wobble? That's clearly evident in the apparant motion of the North Star tracking around a circle as well as all the other stars and constellations with a period of about 23,000 years. No?
@starmanskye You are right. The axis appears to wobble from Earth's point of view, but the suns apex was never included in the precession calculations. I deduced that the precession cycle occurs because of the distance and direction the sun travels, note, almost perpendicular to the galactic plane. The extra time it takes for the Earth to reach its previous position is offset by that distance and causes the constellations to appear to retrograde.
.. The axis is not what is changing. It is the position of the solar system. If it were the axis wobbling then the calendar would have to reflect upon this as well. If the sun did not move through the Milky Way at an angle the precession would not be observed. The background stars if one considers stationary shows that the sun's position is what is causing the precession not the tilt of the Earth's axis. If the Earth's axis were wobbling summer would eventually fall on December 21.
... Seasons occur because of the tilt of the Earth's axis. According to ancient monuments this occurs like clockwork. Summer always falls around June 21 because the Earth's axis stays nearly a constant from year to year. Wouldn't the axis of the Earth appear to change positions if the sun were moving through space dragging the Earth along with it? Yes, so because the solar apex (the sun's way)was not included in the precession calculation is why this appears to be an axis wobble.

@valdemar8 The Earth's geomagnetic north pole migrates slightly every year. I knew that long before doing this video. The pole shift in question is the poles suddenly reversing. According to geological data the last time the poles shifted in a reversal was over 790,000 years ago. The solar system completes the precession of the equinoxes every 26,000 years. That timeline does not coincide with geological data on the past pole shifts so evidence does not support a major pole shift reversal!

It only appears to align every year now because we are less than 1 degree of alignment. In 72 years the alignment will be off by 1 degree. In 13,000 years it will be off by 180 degrees. If you look into the sky next June you can see that we are very close to alignment as the dark rift has recently became apparent. Experts cannot agree on an exact moment but the Maya pinpointed this down to the minute thousands of years ago. Now who are/ were the experts?
Do you live under a rock? There is no alignment with the center of the Galaxy in 2012 or any time. As to the Sun being in the center of the Galaxy, that it impossible; the Sun and solar system will always remain at about 30,000 light years from the galactic center. We had one in 1998 but not the way people think it happens.

The Mayan Indians(or Olmec) claimed Earth changes mark the end of each precession cycle. No one can say it is a fact that this alignment already occurred in 1998, there were no major Earth changes that happened. @jkred2012 Well the past cataclysmic events do not have a common factor. The galactic alignment, according to the Maya, happens every 13,000 years, precession of the equinoxes. There is no cataclysmic pattern which fits this cycle. Many of the past extinctions are theorized to have been caused by asteroid collisions. How can cataclysms be related to a cycle or pattern in time? Besides, this alignment occurred many times in the past and life is still here. Don't surrender to fear, enjoy yourself!

Pluto is so far from the sun that it does not receive enough thermo radiation to cause a thaw but the surface temperature is increasing. Possibly an extra solar source? @obsidian231 Actually the wave is already present. It is not light until the wave is observed. This misconception even baffles scientists. According to the double slit experiments a photon is still a wave until it is observed. When it is observed the wave transforms into a light particle. So theoretically speaking, light has no speed limit when it is in the form of a wave, i.e., traveling through empty space. This is why we cannot see the light traveling through space until it hits something.

I did a google search and found not one other citation from anyone sharing your belief. I do not understand how Voyager could validate your belief since a. it was not tasked with looking at the earth, and b. it would take 71.6 years to verify the lack of 1 degree in shift. @kweenipie1 I referenced the data from Voyager 1 & 2 because they show a bow shock happening leading our solar system in the direction it is moving. I also referenced solar apex because it too shows the solar system to be moving. The 12 constellations are not moving it is the solar system that moves. Is it a coincidence that the Maya based their long count calendar on the precession of the equinoxes and our alignment with the Milky Way ecliptic? This implies it is not a wobble in earths axis.
@kweenipie1 I do not believe the earth's wobble was even mentioned by the Maya, who were more advanced in astronomy than anyone alive today. I could be wrong, but think about it for a minute. If the earth's axis wobbled while taking the same lengthy repetitive orbit around the sun the seasons would gradually change. The seasons depend upon the tilt of the earth's axis. If the axis tilted the seasons would not always fall within the same calendar months year after year.
@kweenipie1 In conclusion, because the solar system moves while the orbital period of the earth remains a constant the constellations appear to retrograde from the earth's point of perspective. So logically it is not a wobble in the earth's axis but the solar system moving (solar apex) against the constellations. It is so simple that it cannot be that I am the only one to see this.
@kweenipie The precession of the equinoxes is theorized to be caused by the earth's axis wobbling 1 degree every 72.22 or so years. If that were the case then the seasons would flip after every 13,000 years. Summer would fall in December & winter would occur in June. But this has never been recorded in history. Logically then the precession happens because our solar system moves through the Milky Way, see solar apex & Voyager 1 & 2 data. It confirms no axis wobble of the Earth.
the way I hear it our alignment with the galactic center is a 26 million year oscillation and we won't be in it for another 13 million years. we (Earth) are at the highest or lowest peak of the oscillation now, not sure which.

If hydrogen consists of one electron and one proton then how many hydrogen atoms are created when the Earth gets bombarded with high energetic gamma rays in the trillions of electron volts? They found heavy metals deposited in a layer of the ice at a depth of 13,000 years. They came to the conclusion the metals were the result from high energetic gamma rays colliding with Earth's upper atmosphere. Milagro Observatory concurs that these gamma rays are again striking the Earth in high energies again. Last time it ended the ice age.

We do not know what effect the gamma ray energy coming from the galaxy's core will have on the Sun's magnetic field during the eclipse. Einstein believed that it may cause the Earth's magnetic poles to flip or reverse. I however do not believe it will.

However, since the poles have flipped before, I would not exclude that possiblity. There is already substantial evidence that the magnetic and physical poles are moving. What's more they are moving at a constatnly accelerating rate.

@QuaaludeMidnight I know, the poles are slowly moving but the real question is what causes the magnetic poles to move? The last pole reversal was over 250 million years ago. The entire precession cycle takes nearly 26,000 years. The Earth crossed the galactic equator 19 times since the last pole reversal. We can clearly see that the pole reversals are not caused when the Earth crosses the galactic equator. This is, if we go by the Mayan's definition of a precession cycle.

For all we know it could have happened from a growing Earth(see expanding Earth theory) & the shifting of the continents caused them to rotate to current locations. That is if we use the sea floor spreading as indicators for the expansion. Also note that a smaller Earth would also account for the larger plants, animals & insects before the last reversal.

As we have yet to measure the electromagnetic influence our supermassive black hole exerts on Earth during alignment, we cannot say how drastic the effect will be. All we can say with certainty is that it will have an effect. The Mayans among others did note that there were five cataclysmic events on Earth and another is on the horizon.

Of course the center of the galaxy is going to be rife with radiation and gamma rays, but we are still millions of light-years away. Even now we are close enough that if something were to happen, it would have done it already. Passing through the central horizon to the Mayans meant something spiritual. They never said anything about drastic change on Earth.

The Milky Way Has An Equator (The middle) like every object, that is called the galactic equator. The Mayans believed the sun as a god that's why they sacrificed people. Since the mayans were astronomy experts they knew where the earth was heading. the earth has a certain route and aligns with the galactic equator every 2,000 years and were at the tip to going to the equator this 2012. The sun will rise and set differently but no damages like in the movie. Just a normal solar cycle.

@EldarVampire Fermi telescope has been detecting gamma rays emanating from along the galactic equator for a few years. Milagro Observatory noted the gamma rays have been increased from 500 MeV to 3.5 TeV. This means the energy is constantly flowing. The increase in eV shows, + data of Sun's bow shocked heliosphere, that the solar system is moving(see solar apex) south into the GR stream. The Sun's precession cycle causes us to cross the MW equator like a giant cross in the sky every 13K yrs.

@HardyManful Low energy gamma rays damage DNA. A de-evolution occurs, nothing good comes. In the lab the damage can be bred out & the DNA returns to normal. If the damage occurs to all subjects then they all die off, cannot reproduce. What would be the odds of the high energetic gamma rays causing changes to the DNA in every specie of animal so that each could still reproduce? I doubt anything will happen because the energy is already hitting the Earth. 1 sign of damage would be low birth rates.

@HardyManful I do not know. Current understanding of how the magnetic field is produced does not suggest that. Yet, our understanding of a magnetic field I believe is based on mere assumptions. Scientist are baffled after finding gamma ray energy entering our solar system with energy in the Tera electron volts. The source according to calculations should be less than a light year away yet no star is anywhere near that close to us except our own sun. So, they have to rethink magnetic fields now.

See gamma ray jets which spew from the poles of a black hole, even inactive ones such as the one in the center of the Milky Way, see gamma ray bubbles spewing from the core of our own Milky Way. It is only speculation that high energetic gamma rays are effected by gravity. Observations tell a different story.

@starmanskye You are right. The axis appears to wobble from Earth's point of view, but the suns apex was never included in the precession calculations. I deduced that the precession cycle occurs because of the distance and direction the sun travels, note, almost perpendicular to the galactic plane. The extra time it takes for the Earth to reach its previous position is offset by that distance and causes the constellations to appear to retrograde.

.. The axis is not what is changing. It is the position of the solar system. If it were the axis wobbling then the calendar would have to reflect upon this as well. If the sun did not move through the Milky Way at an angle the precession would not be observed. The background stars if one considers stationary shows that the sun's position is what is causing the precession not the tilt of the Earth's axis. If the Earth's axis were wobbling summer would eventually fall on December 21.

@valdemar8 The Earth's geomagnetic north pole migrates slightly every year. I knew that long before doing this video. The pole shift in question is the poles suddenly reversing. According to geological data the last time the poles shifted in a reversal was over 790,000 years ago. The solar system completes the precession of the equinoxes every 26,000 years. That timeline does not coincide with geological data on the past pole shifts so evidence does not support a major pole shift reversal!

@666TheMetalmaniac666 No it does not. The precession of the equinoxes causes the stars to retrograde 1 degree about every 72 years. It only appears to align every year now because we are less than 1 degree of alignment. In 72 years the alignment will be off by 1 degree. In 13,000 years it will be off by 180 degrees. So tell me how is it that the Earth aligns every year? Is this because this is what others have said & you agree with their ignorance? Ignorance means ignoring the facts, no offence.

If you just do a bit of research on precession of the equinoxes you will see why I corrected your comment. The alignment does occur and nothing happens I agree, but it does not happen every year. If it did then there would be no reason to acknowledge the precession cycle. I can't believe Michio would make that mistake.

Mayan Calender = Galactic Alignment Countdown that resets each time the alignment passes. It does not mean the end of the world but just when our galaxy has a Galactic Alignment. If you look into the sky next June you can see that we are very close to alignment as the dark rift has recently became apparent. It is very difficult to truly determine the exact moment of alignment thus the rough guess by experts. Experts cannot agree on an exact moment but the Maya pinpointed this down to the minute thousands of years ago. Now who are/ were the experts?

Do you live under a rock? There is no alignment with the center of the Galaxy in 2012 or any time. As to the Sun being in the center of the Galaxy, that it impossible; the Sun and solar system will always remain at about 30,000 light years from the galactic center. We had one in 1998 but not the way people think it happens.

The Mayan Indians(or Olmec) claimed Earth changes mark the end of each precession cycle. No one can say it is a fact that this alignment already occurred in 1998, there were no major Earth changes that happened. I only claim it happens in 2012 for this is written in stone, see Maya Long count Calendar and their Codex.

@jkred2012 Well the past cataclysmic events do not have a common factor. The galactic alignment, according to the Maya, happens every 13,000 years, precession of the equinoxes. There is no cataclysmic pattern which fits this cycle. Many of the past extinctions are theorized to have been caused by asteroid collisions. How can cataclysms be related to a cycle or pattern in time? Besides, this alignment occurred many times in the past and life is still here. Don't surrender to fear, enjoy yourself!

@How2getdotnet Yes, you are right. There is no warming, unless you consider the other planets showing signs of a thaw as well. Pluto is so far from the sun that it does not receive enough thermo radiation to cause a thaw but the surface temperature is increasing. Possibly an extra solar source? I wonder how much thermo radiation the high energetic gamma ray photons release when they collide with matter? See cosmic hot spots. This envir. change is not caused by humans. Taxes will not change this.

Light is also able to transmit data, according to lab results when DNA info was transferred from that of a salamander into frog embryos using a harmless light. if we do see the light wouldn't it be like our sun but farther away? it takes 8 minutes for us to see the light from sun but wave reaches us first.... there it would take longer for light vs wave so it would be over by the time light reaches us. would this wave alter atmosphere?

@obsidian231 Actually the wave is already present. It is not light until the wave is observed. This misconception even baffles scientists. According to the double slit experiments a photon is still a wave until it is observed. When it is observed the wave transforms into a light particle. So theoretically speaking, light has no speed limit when it is in the form of a wave, i.e., traveling through empty space. This is why we cannot see the light traveling through space until it hits something.

@obsidian231 Light may travel 186,000 mps but if the wave is already present we merely need to observe it to transform the wave instantly into light. This is why the furthest galaxies found appear older than what the speed of light would suggest. See Tomotsugu finds galaxy 12.8 billion light years away. We cannot see gamma rays but our optic nerves can detect it as light if hit by these cosmic particles. See Buzz Aldrin, Z particles, streaks of light he saw when outside Earth's magnetosphere.

The last galactic alignment came & passed & the world is still here. So what else different could happen this time around that did not happen the last time our solar system aligned along the galactic equator? There is so much conflicting evidence so nobody knows what will really happen, we can only speculate. We do know what's not going to happen.

Very interesting video. I feel people are ignoring the fact that another calender starts after 2012. It's very fascinating how the ancient Mayans had great knowledge of black holes and galactic cycles. However the part of your video that stated "According to geologists every time this cosmic event happens it leaves a layer of nickel and gold on the atmosphere" seemed absurd. Were are you getting these facts from? I would like to know more on how that theory came to be.

He explains how a layer of nickel and gold got deposited within the ice of Greenland some 13,000 years ago. Also see "pair production" and what gamma ray observatories have been detecting for some time now. Theoretically, when gamma rays (energetic photons) hit the Earth's upper atmosphere the collision with protons form heavy elements like nickel, gold, and others.

@ConspiracyExposure The Earth's EMF causes resistance and slows gamma rays so having a weaker field means the high energetic gamma rays can pass through tissue easier without causing harm. Gamma rays (3.5 TeV, or trillion electron volts) are already hitting the surface of our planet & nothing has happened to us yet. As we get closer to the galactic alignment the energy will increase. This means our chances of being damaged by this energy decreases. Life will continue on like it has done before.

@Torcika Yes, I had predicted that the gamma rays the FERMI Telescope and Milagro Observatory were detecting emanated from the black hole at the center of our Milky Way galaxy. We are told nothing can escape a black hole. We are being lied to. Central black holes are the building blocks of galaxies, essentially trees of life giving way to the development of all galaxies in the universe. I hypothesized that matter is created 90° to the magnetic equator, it appears that I was correct.

@Torcika The team at NASA are perplexed about the origin of these bubbles because nothing is suppose to escape a black hole not even light. Gamma rays & photons are electromagnetic radiation, yet the bubbles clearly emanate from the black hole, Sgr. A. Vogelsang predicted that black holes emit EM waves of radiation. It is the magnetic field which effects light not gravity, see Sun spots. Essentially, Einstein was wrong & so is the Law of Thermodynamics. This is why physicists are still confused.

GateMessenger, thank you for your reply. I accessed Voyager 1 and 2 data and found no information on the lack of wobble of the earth's axis. I did a google search and found not one other citation from anyone sharing your belief. I do not understand how Voyager could validate your belief since a. it was not tasked with looking at the earth, and b. it would take 71.6 years to verify the lack of 1 degree in shift. Perhaps you could direct me to links supporting your position. Thank you.

@kweenipie1 I referenced the data from Voyager 1 & 2 because they show a bow shock happening leading our solar system in the direction it is moving. I also referenced solar apex because it too shows the solar system to be moving. The 12 constellations are not moving it is the solar system that moves. Is it a coincidence that the Maya based their long count calendar on the precession of the equinoxes and our alignment with the Milky Way ecliptic? This implies it is not a wobble in earths axis.

@kweenipie1 I do not believe the earth's wobble was even mentioned by the Maya, who were more advanced in astronomy than anyone alive today. I could be wrong, but think about it for a minute. If the earth's axis wobbled while taking the same lengthy repetitive orbit around the sun the seasons would gradually change. The seasons depend upon the tilt of the earth's axis. If the axis tilted the seasons would not always fall within the same calendar months year after year.

@kweenipie1 In conclusion, because the solar system moves while the orbital period of the earth remains a constant the constellations appear to retrograde from the earth's point of perspective. So logically it is not a wobble in the earth's axis but the solar system moving (solar apex) against the constellations. It is so simple that it cannot be that I am the only one to see this.

@kweenipie The precession of the equinoxes is theorized to be caused by the earth's axis wobbling 1 degree every 72.22 or so years. If that were the case then the seasons would flip after every 13,000 years. Summer would fall in December & winter would occur in June. But this has never been recorded in history. Logically then the precession happens because our solar system moves through the Milky Way, see solar apex & Voyager 1 & 2 data. It confirms no axis wobble of the Earth.
