  • No Blackmore. No Purple.

  • supeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer!!!

  • 15:08... and Mr.Gillan goes night at the roxbury.

  • 15:08 ... and Mr.Gillan goes "night at the roxbury"

  • When i saw them in 2011, Gillan was, i must say, 10000000 times better. Maybe is he tired with so many time on the road. Not bad though.

  • wow high classes

  • And that keyboard player is simply a god!

  • I just hope I'll be just as 'green' when I'm their age.

  • Sublimes!!!!!!

  • Not bad by Gillan...i think exept 2-3 songs he does a great job at this concert

  • ... It is amazing how they still play on such an amazing level. It is just.... amazing,

  • This is like watching a game show! Horrendous. Hard rock is best when it is a bit out -of -control. So safe and calculated. Where is the darkness and aggressive edge that was present when Blackmore was in the band?

  • So good, excellent

  • Cool !!!!!!!

  • legendary!

  • Impresionantes

  • Impresionante recuerda el del año 1969 .Monstruos.

  • I was there!!!!

Can you give yourself the songs of the concert please?

  • It is a richness of this century that we have so versatile flying squad which can able to create these miraculous sounds. Deep Purple!

  • You can only go so far before you bastardise a genre of music and the've managed it big time.

Ritchie, come back and rescue them from themselves, if you've still got it in you.

  • LE PIED ...

    Merci

  • Man they sure know how to Rock. Gods of rock.

  • Excellent.....

  • poor gillian, he's old, but still sings better than alot of people out there.

  • @vecchine14 Who the Hell is this Gillian dude. I only know Gillan!

  • to much booze n toking

  • So Gillan's voice has changed, bfd, I'll bet your voice dosen't sound like it did 40 yrs. ago either! It's a good old guy voice!

  • GILLAN'S VOICE WHAT HAPPENED ?!?!?!?

  • @gnrcr 45 years have passed, that's what happened!

EXCELENTE.

  • Thank you for the add!!

    SUPER CONCERT!

    I greet the Polish;))

    Marek

  • One thing I love about this incarnazione of Purple is all the scavenging of the deeper darker tracks. Props for playing Hard Loving Man, No One Came, and Maybe I'm A Leo

  • Best band!

Vide Roger Hodgson, David Gilmour e outros.

  • @bozzman2 I was there too, it was AMAZING!

  • Everybody in this performance is great i can't understand why Ian Gillan leaves the stage!!!

  • @MrBourno when He is leaving?

  • SUPER

  • SUPER

  • Marvellous!!!!

  • too much

  • Helsinki 7th of Dec, 2011, wonderful concert!

  • And another thing, I've been following this band closely since the summer of '81 when I became a fan, and first off i didn't think they would ever reunite. Second, I never thought I would be watching them live in the year 2011!!!!! Shoot, Gillan and Glover is 66 and still rocking out like they did in the early days! Who would've thought??? The band moved on with Morse, then Airey, and they've gained new fans all along. They may've lost a few Blackmore/ Lord fanatics, but all in all Purple wins!

  • @IHIKML Basicaly you do not follow Purple Because off Blackmore and Lord Deep Purple is one of the bands that define rock sound and i believe still is a good band!!!

  • @MrBourno What are you saying? I just praised the current Purple with multiple posts, and you say I don't follow Purple??? I'm not sure I understand what you mean, and reading your post- you didn't get my meaning! I said that Purple have moved on, and they have lost some Blackmore/ Lord fanatics on the way. But, in the end Purple, and we who still are fans, wins! They're still a great hard rock band, and they still have great ideas and do great things compared to a lot of bands today.

  • @IHIKML I didn't dissagree with you i just say for people tha following Purple because off Blackmore or Lord that Deep Purple is more than 2 great musicians! I totaly agree with you!

  • @MrBourno A-ha:-) I got it....finally:-) And, I totally agree with you!!!

  • Btw, I urge all true Purple fans to buy the Gillan DVD "Highway Star, a journey in rock" and also the Purple DVD "Around The World". The extras (Gillan cam among others) are just fantastic! Gives a very good explination why this mark goes along so well. They enjoy eachothers company, and they have a LOT of fun while on the road. In the end, things weren't that easy during the last years with Blackmore. I love Blackmore, but for this band to continue he had to go. Sad, but then again we got this!

  • Fantastic! I'm waiting for both the DVD and double CD to arrive at my local musicstore. Will buy them both. Have to say... Gillan may not sound like he did way back when, but he still sounds very good. e's got charisma by the bucketloads, and the band is just amazing. I'm so glad they're still around. After all the years with Morse I actually don't miss Blackmore at all, and Airey has proven himself over and over again! At their age with an orchestra? I'm stunned!!! Love you guys:-)

  • I hope i am right. Tracklist: 01:Deep Purple Overture / Highway Star 02:Hard Lovin' Man 03:Maybe I'm A Leo 04:Strange Kind Of Woman 05:Rapture Of The Deep 06:Woman From Tokyo 07:Contact Lost 08:When A Blind Man Cries 09:The Well Dressed Guitar 10:Kocking At Your Back Door 11:Lazy 12:No One Came 13:Don Airey Solo 14:Perfect Strangers 15:Space Truckin' 16:Smoke On The Water 17:Hush 18:Black Night
  • And now....the new album please!!!!!!!!

  • Thnx for posting, ordered one through amazon just a minute ago!

  • Awesome! After watching this, I ordered the Blu-Ray from Amazon. Thanks for posting.

  • Roger Glover is the most cool and awesome old man ever, and one of the most charismatic bassists.

Also, awesome show, a real lesson of how make rock with a orchestra... Metallica and Dream Theater's guys should watch this.

  • Don't be so shook up, blackster...seeing this rip assured me that this dvd is well worth the cash. Gonna go buy it.

  • Just fantastic. Fantastic musicians and amazing singer at 66 years old!!! With no doubt one of the best live band ever!

  • shame that the voice isn't able to be the same, father time has his limit's. the music still rocks.

  • You haven't a clue, so can it, please! The uploader, 'nikrvsn' should be hung out to dry for this.... good luck with his future!

  • @blackster Well, it's not like they need the money. I paid 80 euro's so I could see them live yesterday. And I wasn't the only one, thousands of people did. So please forgive me if I do not have enough money right now to buy this DVD and I have to watch this on youtube, they made a fortune by doing one gig yesterday and they will make even more money with the rest of their tour. And hey, you watched this too right?

  • Comment removed

  • Down this goes, you're all criminals! Serious thieves, everyone watching... buy the damned thing for christ freaking sakes!

  • @blackster u has mads's?

  • super!

  • Yeah!

  • Maestros. Insuperables. Siempre creciendo y sorprendiendo. ¡Gracias DEEP PURPLE!.
