2009 Honda S2000 2.2 4L: 250hp, 18/24MPG (EPA)
2011 Honda MDX V6 3.7: 265hp, 16/21 MPG (EPA)
A Honda VTEC V8 will probably do 10 MPG and will have LESS torque than a normal V6, while guzzling like a V12.

"engine VOLUMETRIC efficiency" (power per displacement) with
"engine FUEL efficiency" (distance per fuel)
which are NOT related whatsoever.
More HP per litre does NOT equate to a lot more miles per gallon.
Usually is the opposite (highly-strung engine), as has been demostrated with verifiable FACTS.

Lemme put it to you this way. There's about 5 maybe 4 cylinder cars that you don't have to touch that can beat a v6 sports car. The rest are grocery getters. Evo sti cobalt ss srt 4... Any other 4 cylinder car that goes fast has mods worth more than the car itself. That is a waste of time when you can buy a stock car for less money that goes faster.

I don't think that rsx-type s would touch that tuned 07-08 sti(as you claimed it was tuned) with just simple bolt-ons. I have an 05 sti with hks short ram intake, hks titanium exhaust and hks super sequential bov, not tuned either, just bolt ons and still rape civics with k20 swaps.

Power to weight ratio in that RSX is not going to save your ass when ur all motor vs an actual tuned STI. That Subi is untuned. Period. I just raced a buddy with an RSX with similar mods and i fucking rape him in my evo. I also raced my boys 09 WRX with STI turbo and its close. I'm calling B\S on mod list for subi. I love Honda's I own 2. My best friend drives an RSX.

@tmenzo939 the sti couldnt lanch since they did it from a rolling start but the sti could have easily brake boosted and got faster shifts to maintane boost for the next gear but on the sti espcially it prob has a very conservative tune since it didnt walk the rsx

I miss driving up that road when I went to wyotech, i'm pretty sure your coming out of walmart parking lot in blairsville or whoresville. for the record the subie should of took that from the jump, but then again the elevation in blairville is pretty high compared to va where im from. thats not an 02 rsx. thats an 05-06. i have an 06 same rear end. so you must have done an 04 front end swap . idk why, or you bought a new hatch tails and bumber. both sick cars. rsx looks good. i also caught those type r door cards. nice touch. @somanymods uhhhhh yeah it will regardless of having a turbo(vf39 stock sti turbo isnt even that bad with a good tune and 3-3.5 inch de catted exhaust, and even accomidating the weigth diffrence the sti has a better power to weight ratio. and they started at like what 35-40mph, k seires have such a poor go 1-2 gear kinda 3rd compared to the top end power they make. i promise sti needs some one more sufficent behind the wheel that makes the subaru crowd look bad

I know my i/e/rh/kpro rsx hung with some some modded STI's and stuck with an EVO X from behind after losing like 3-4 cars when it took off...lol. Find some RSX 3rd gear pull speedo vids and compare them to 2011 WRXs and you will have an answer...kind of
