Well it took a bit less than 10 seconds and 0-1/2*9.81*10^2 equals -490 that means objects travel ~490m in 10 seconds free fall ... and the WTC rooftop was at about 420m

I could believe a pancake collapse if there were some mass driving the collapse. Everything above the injury to the building is pure dust 10 stories before it gets there.

What is remarkable to me about this video is that the 'sqib' you mention (bottom of the zoom frame) is ejected FIRST as related to one seen just below the collapse front. Now that is what I call a "SMOKING GUN"!!

You can hear what sounds like an explosion at the precise moment that the second building has a burst of flame shooting from it. Like a detonator went off at the precise moment the other building was coming down. Scary.
Obviously the tower was blown to kingdom come, the stoking of the flames of the tower behind were probably caused by the massive 'push of air' caused by the explosive pushing out of the tower. So the push of air was outward - not downward.
what is the point of this video?
