I don't know why everybody complains about the Eterna storyline. You must admit it was very creative and nothing you've ever seen on daytime TV. I thought it was huge fun! And so dramatic! Especially the beginning and end of the story!
Andrea Evans and Fiona Hutchinson .Freakin' loved them as quirky self-centered bffs.lol Absdolutely loved this storyline :) I also hated how they killed off Gabrielle.
super duper far fectched but i still liked it. There were booby traps in Eterna that would release deadly gas. Whatever. But remember Clint time traveled to the old west. and the weather machine on GH. Straight from comic books! But still cool.

yeah. I wish they could have it onWeb that I could re-watch all those 6 years and see my favorite charcaters, but I wood go back a few months to see what ETERNA was, there are SO MANY episodes of Soaps, they will probably never be online

I know lots of people trashed the Eterna storyline, but my brother and I thought it was great-- partly because of Tina & Gabrielle (they were THE BEST) and partly because the idea of an underground city was unexpected. In some ways, it reminds me of "Lost."

This brings back so many memories of OLTL back in it's glory days. Tina and Gabrielle always had a love/hate friendship with each other. It sucks that during the Campus killer storyline a few years back that they killed of Gabby. I'm soo happy that Andrea Evans is coming home to OLTL! And with Ron Cavilari at the helm of head writer, I know he'll create a great storyline for the one and only Tina Lord Roberts!
I think it sarted off excellent then got silly. However, I'd much rather watch this than half of the soaps today. Thank God, Andrea Evans will be back soon. OLTL is good, but this will give it a shot in the arm. Yes the music from the 1970s-mid 90s was excellent.
After going over Iguazu Falls without suffering a miscarriage, or falling out of a lighthouse with a dead man in a wheelchair falling on top of her using another woman to break her fall whats a fall into a hole.

I thought Eterna was a GREAT story! I liked it much better than the Wild, Wild West story. It featured Erika Slezak, need I say more! It was quite a journey with Viki realizing she didn't graduate high school and went to she had a long lost daughter she never knew she had and Niki carried the child, and it culminated in most of Llanview being trapped in Eterna! and of course she realized Megan (the wonderful Jessica Tuck) was her daughter! Wow! (and Nat has Megan's fire!)

There was a writer's strike going on during this time and the producers wrote this storyline and at the time, the soap mags said it was the worst of the year and said OLTL was a laughing stock because of it. I personally loved it and it can't thank you enough for posting it. I love Tina and Gabrielle.
Well in my opinion, as soap stories go..there have been far worse storylines on daytime before and since then. Ok...so maybe it's a little silly...but it could have been a lot worse.

OH MY GOD!!! I loved this storyline. It made OLTL a laughingstock for a time. I was 14 and I loved this so much.
Great background music too. I loved OLTL's background music back then.
All of the shows had their own identity and I miss that.
