Kind of reminds me of Simon's Quest, which has three endings, depending on how fast you beat the game. In one ending, both Dracula and Simon die, in the second, Dracula is destroyed, but his curse lives on in Simon, who dies later on. In the final ending, Simon defeats Dracula and rids himself of the curse. He stands over Dracula's grave and walks away. As day fades to night, a hand breaks through the ground in front of the grave.

The only problem I have with OoE is the fact that you play a character who is literally without a personality the entire game. I know that's the point, but it doesn't really work for me. Then again, Castlevania isn't known for its stellar storytelling or character development (but that doesn't stop it from being a good game franchise).

Another way to kill him, is what I found IGN had in it's guide as well. Equip the strongest rapier, and the skeleton beam glyph, along with equipping the Death Ring and Judgement Ring. For me, at level 42, it did 900 damage. Not nearly as strong as your attack, but it's a quick attack so it gets the job done.

Seriously though, I wish this scene had the same voice actors from SoTN...along with a new one for Shanoa. We need another "WHAT IS A MAN!?"
