Nah, just go wading through a shallow part of a river and lift up rocks, there they are. Then you just close your hands around them or if they're too big for you to do that, come from above and sort of pin them to the bottom to catch them.

@Dimunic My family actually owns many farms so I know the conditions. All of the meat I eat is pasture raised and not confined in a little pen like you are describing. Don't really give a shit about chickens, because they still taste good. The fish I am describing called "Mudcats", really do taste like mud and shit. Salmonella is from not properly cooking the chicken though.
