But besides the point, poverty is a huge issue. For one, minimum wage needs to be increased and work places should use more social methods (pay according to contribution, not connections) via direct democracy. Also higher tax brackets on the wealthier class, and lower taxes on the poor.

Also cut spending on military forces and other useless stuff. So money can be used for beneficial uses.

Why do I feel this way? Well, first, I'd like to read where you received this statistic, because last time I checked, the richest 1% don't compare to entire population of America. I would be pretty positive the main population of America pays the most.
I do not feel as if taxes should go way up. In fact, I think they can go down if we spend our tax money a lot smarter then we are doing now. But I'm saying, if necessary, we should not overtax those dealing with poverty.

It is still his right to criticize actions and policies of the President openly just as it is your right to support them. If I think the President is wrong, I can discuss my views regardless of how many people voted for him. Morris cites the actions of the President with which he disagrees and offers examples to show why. His argument transcends "Obama is Anti-American" if you'd actually listen to the clip instead of responding to the title and blindly following Obama no matter what he does.

Morris is saying Obama is anti-American. He puts it up front in the title so even an idiot can't miss it. America for the most part has rejected the politics of smear & fear. The only thing Morris is transcending is respect for our nation and the democratic process.
Morris should be careful. I know some vets who don't like their commander being called anti-America by the likes of him.

We need to tone down the rhetoric on both sides. Those upset with the term "Anti-American policies" should have been equally incensed about the plethora of attacks on the character of President Bush, the former Commander in Chief. Instead, they claimed dissent was patriotic. Now that Obama is President, suddenly dissent is unpatriotic again. Respectful dissent is patriotic. We should be able to have a rational discussion regardless of party affiiation. Name calling clouds that process.
