This is a terribly unfaithful depiction of the story. They blatantly invent things! Fishing with his son? Where does that appear in the story? Oh right- no where. The list, not in there either. Neither is this discussion about electricity or Rip's supposed resolution to work hard. Also, Rip was hunting squirrels, not deer. Rip wasn't lured deeper into the forest by mysterious sounds, he went to his regular spot as he always did. This is awful!
