Washington D.C. could sink into the Atlantic, and the only "chaos" that would result would be the parasites trying to find a new host - the Banks would scramble like cockroaches and the military industrial complex would die of exposure.
You and I would go back to work, make our livings, and remain orderly. Chaos is only going to happen when the Central Bank reveals that our currency is worth less than the paper its printed on, and everyone around the world will have to deal with the problems.
@mczerone pff, "reveal", as if it's some well-guarded secret. Listen, the only reason money is worth anything is that you, me and everyone else in the world treats it AS IF it is worth something. We do this because money has liquidity. We can buy and sell things and use money in the process. We need a currency of big liquidity for practical reasons, and it doesn't matter if it's aluminum, silver or paper. Paper is just a leight-weight and easy currency to carry around and store.
Reminds me of Alan Greenspan last year... or what that Helicopter Ben earlier this year... Hell, I can't keep track of all the yammering of the CNN / FOXNEWS / ABC / CBS / NBC / MSNBC/ CNBC et al...
I think what they're trying to keep our attention on is that WE ARE MILLIONS, and these few, these precious few ELITISTS are scared to death that we know where they live, and are coming with pitchforks.
