  • OMG....The women in pink doing the make-up on Brandys is really rough with her..did you see how she just turned her head hard.... its @ 00;59-1-00

  • Hmmm..I kno everyone has different techniques but a spoon?..I'll stick with a lash curler..n putting mascara on a fan brush just isn't as easy as using a wand..a wand gets every hair coated when rolled..not a fan

  • the model is stanning

    sha doesn't need any makeup

    gorgeous girl

  • spoon... so pro o.ob

  • the model shows that not all asians have SMALL eyes

  • model looked better before. this makeup makes her look fob

  • Wow I want her to do my makeup...love it..!

  • i like how she has all those brushes and colors, im jealous

  • i'm a filipina i have double eyelids but in photos they look single. This is such a useful tutorial and the model is also very pretty.

  • i find that most asian makeup tutorials are annoying coz not all asians hv this type of eyes.only certain area of asia where the people obviously hv this type of eyes like japan, china,hk,korea & taiwan.look at india or arabs people, they dont hv this small,single-lid eyes & short lashes.they hv big, round beautiful eyes with long curl lashes.

  • @witchwic are you saying the stereotypical asian eyes are ugly?

  • i find that most of asians make up vids are annoying coz not all asians hv this type of eyes.only certain area of asia where the people obviously hv this kind of eyes like japan,hk,china.korea.like india or pakistan, they hv big round eyes with thick beautiful lashes.

  • hi. love the videos.. but can you do a video with a model who has features that are more typical of asians??

  • Im wondering wouldnt the spoon trick be bad for the eyelashes? because you are like heating them up to forace them to curl...

  • well, not much natural when compare to those Korean makeup there.

  • is the model Asian?

  • i think they should have stayed with a nude lip color on her, more flattering maybe?

  • the model is already pretty!

  • wow she is so preety

  • this is awessomee!!!!

  • Oh my god, the model look soooo like Pocahontas! She's beautiful :)

  • the teaspoon technique, doesnt it damage your eye lashes though??? i wanna try but im scared.

  • Her makeup was beautiful and natural. You are so talented. Thanks for the tutorial.

  • Wow Beautiful model and beautiful makeup ^_^

  • curling with a spoon? whoa!

  • The eyelashes of the model look full n long :x:X...her eye brows r nice too...even it too dark :P

  • easter asian girls are hawt(i misspeled on purpose)

  • Pamela hakeman!!!!:O My name is Pamela

  • i don't have double eyelids, i have short lashes, small lips, what to do?

  • i wish there were video for those asians who has no double eyelids!

  • the model is gorgeous! but most asians don't have lashes which are long enough to do the spoon trick. my lashes are awfully short........

  • It bothers me how the model already has makeup on before the makeup artist applies the foundation. =/

  • The asian is so pretty! Prettier without makeup(:

  • i have never seen such a beautiful girl without makeup :o

  • i've heard of the spoon trick but never saw it actually being done so that was neat haha and i was a little disappointed to see that the asian model used had double eyelids. I was hoping she would be a monolid girl :\

  • Hi ! I Think You Guys are really cool! is there any way to get bold and pretty triangular lips like that ? thx ! :)

  • She's really pretty and Pam is amazing, but I don't feel that the Asian model truly represents a majority of other Asian women in how their eyes look! The model already has double eyelids, so this really isn't going to help monolids!

  • I think the lip color ruined the look :/ it should have been a light peachy pinkish color to go with the natural look

  • HOLY SHIT A TEASPOON!! liked. favorited. done.

  • i would've wanted to see a tutorial on an asian with monolids since those are the hardest to apply shadows on. i have monolids and my eyes are wide-set. i haven't seen a tutorial on that eye shape yet. if anyone knows of a good video please let me know. it will be greatly appreciated. thank you.

  • What annoys me is when the models they use clearly don't have typical Asian traits. This tutorial is for "Asian Eyes" but she doesn't even have Asian eyes!! Monolids and single eyelids are Asian eyes.

  • @xkxdestinyx monolids and sigle eyelids are FAR EAST ASIAN EYES.

Not just Asian..i mean, south east Asians have double eye lids. most of them..

WE(i'm also far east asian) are the only race in this entire Earth that have such rare face feature (monolids).

Black,White,Arabs,South east asians, Latin,Hispanic etc.. All of them have double eye lids

while only east asian people don't have double eyelid. it's quite funny.haha

  • @0o0o0o0o00000o0o0o0o where's far east asia??

  • @0o0o0o0o00000o0o0o0o

Not all asians have monolids and single eyelids you know. PLENTY of asians have naturally big and double eyelids.

I found this video to be a breath of fresh air because it didn't typecast Asians as only have small slanty monolided eyes.

  • @twigsgalore no, most of the asians have single eyelids.

  • @xkxdestinyx

  • @xkxdestinyx Asian is a very wide and diverse race, more than Black, White, HIspanic and Latin I believe. But it also baffle me how much the media has stereotype the Asian race to the point that now people can only associate Asians with monolid eyes or small double-lid eyes

  • Asian Mandy Moore. (:

  • Why doesn't the MUA keep her glasses on the whole video if she needs glasses? Is she ashamed of her cute glasses?

  • you should show how to make up asian monolid eyes too

  • i think she's filipina!

  • Lovely..beautifulll...great job!!!!!!!!!

  • wow she is really beautiful

  • where is ep1 and ep2 for the asian eyes?

  • @MsHimza Hi! The Asian Eye make-up tutorials were Ep 3 and 4 of our Make-up On the Go series on mudblog.net. Ep 1 and 2 are tutorials for blondes/brunettes and can be found here: watch?v=7v79SeYKVSA and watch?v=GyGxevRqEig. The video titles aren't clear and we apologize for the confusion. Thanks for your interest in MUD!

  • Thank you so much. This is something i can do !

& guys, i was reading the comments. i'm asian & i have eyes like hers. It's not that uncommon you know? A lot of us don't have monolids.

  • @MyOhMyOHNO I completely agree. I hate the stereotypes that all asians are monolid. My entire family has double eyelids, and so do 90% of my asian friends. I find that most asians that I meet are not monolids.

  • THat is one beautiful asian.

  • スプーンでカールさせたら絶対ちぎれるってw

  • oh and she looks like Mandy Moore.

  • her eyes are barely asian. you should find a monolid next time

  • The model is so beautiful, it's not a challenge to make her pretty. You should do a make "transformation"

  • 'Then I apply on the other eye to maintain balance'

    ....LOL

  • to maintain balance :D

  • woo, que trucos c:

  • Weuw she's so beautyfull!

  • Weuw she's so beautyfull!

  • I tried the spoon trick. it is sooo difficult. I got a cramp in my hand.

  • that model is so beautiful!

  • she Japanese ? :D

  • her eye is practically western...-_-;;

  • how is this an asian makeup look? the model is asian but the majority of asian have monolid. i guess ill have to shell out the money to get that surgery...

  • omg that model is really pretty. Her eyes are so big :)

and the teaspoon trick is amazing <3 I'm so going to try it!

  • haha i think the spoon trick only works for long lashes XD

  • Im not asian but I was born with the fold in my eye in the same shape as asians have it.. Thanks for the help

  • she so beautiful ... i would like to look like her :)

  • She looks like a doll.

  • wow lovely look! its beautiful! one question what was (what colour) used on her lips? its a very beautiful colour!

  • @manachanchi Hi! Pamela used the following: Natural Lip Pencil, Rose Clay Lipstick and Iced Latte Lip Gloss in the center lower lip for a pouty look. All these products can be found on mudshop.com. Thanks for your interest!

  • I liked it and she's really beautiful but she doesn't really looks like an Asian to me.

  • Love those earrings!

  • brilliant!

  • "then i apply on the other eye to maintain balance" .... lol...... why wouldn't you apply on the other eye?? haha

  • omg the model is soooo gorgeous

  • omfg the model is soooo gorgeous

  • Comment removed

  • I liked her better without makeup somehow she looked better without makeup

  • OMG, pulling the eye-las with the spoon like that won't pull off the lashes? I wanna try but scared I'll damage them.

  • she reminds me of an asian mandy moore

  • the dark lip color totally ruined it...even more..

maybe this is directed more toward south west asians, but as for north east asians, they usually wear very little makeup during the daytime, focusing more on a flawless, dewy, natural face with minimal mascara, blush, and a lip tint. this is common for most, especially koreans. however, some japanese youth, as well as other asians, love the hime gyaru look, focusing on the eyes, plenty of eyeliner and mascara, then a soft pink lip.

  • she doesn't even have asian eyes...

  • she doesn't even have asian eyes...

  • she looks like she aged 7 years on that chair.

  • 1:06 WAOH!! HAHAHA!!!SHE LOOK LIKE THE JAPANESE SINGER KAMENASHI KAZUYAXD

oh wait...i wonder if that is a guy lol sorry ik its a woman but she really does look like KAME from kat-tun

  • @kawaiigurl1231 You must know some freaky 7-year-olds.

  • Wouldn't a mascara brush and an eyelash curler be a lot easier and neater to use?

  • Interesting! But, sorry I hsve to say it - it looks really old-fashioned.

  • i thought i was the only one who used a spoon ^.^

  • the model is gorgeous!

  • I mean I love her* type-o'd bob.;/

  • I love here bob.

  • is she asian?

  • whats the palettte name and can u link it?

  • @Angel9837 Hi! It's not a special pre-selected palette that we sell. Pamela just put the individual eye and cheek color pans that she used for this tutorial into an 8-hole palette. You can put one together yourself, choosing the colors you want, at mudshop.com. Thanks for your interest!

  • i m asian and i hv big eyes too

  • i love the makeup! and the modal she is sooo cuteypie

  • this model is not typicall asian thats unrealistic..she got too big eyes

  • the model pretty :)

  • This girl in my English class took out a spoon and curled her lashes!

    I've never seen in before!

    I thought it was amazing!

good job, and beautiful model! :D

  • the spoon part look painful

  • i bet that model spells her name with an "i" at the end.

  • Thanks. A good natural look for Asians including mature ones who aren't too mad about wearing pastels all the time. Agree with ParadoxAnonymous; I want flawless skin like that too.

  • she looks better without the make-up

  • her eyebrows is 2 thick

  • Such nice skin.

Blah..I want flawless skin like that.

  • love it.....super natural and sexy...

  • @shiroxchoco These are our MUD Professional Make-up Sponges and are available at shop.mudshop.com/make-up-sponge or our MUD Shops in LA and NY. Thanks for your interest!

  • wow shes really pretty !

  • My way of getting this same look: MAC Mi'Lady- red on lid up to crease; MAC expensive pink or soft flower or dear cupcake on lid to crease; shroom or skintone color to highlight. Black or brown eyeliner and mascara and voila! Gorgeous.

  • Does the spoon have to be hot? Very creative use of the fan brush :)

  • @hanhtam79 The spoon does not have to be hot. Think of the spoon and lash as a scissor and ribbon effect. The friction made between the finger and spoon curl the lash.

  • spoon..seriously??

  • her nose looks like michael jackson's nose

  • i will try the spoon technique *wink..:) tnx!!

  • awesome advice thanks, anyone sampled MACs latest range of products?? it's hard to get good makeup in Greasy but i managed to recieve some stunning samples of make-up via "GratisMakeupSamples", there ace.
