  • Why does every slasher movie have generic metal music during the credits these days?

  • Comment removed

  • @Leatherbubba It's just trendy.

  • Heey, but anyone know the lyrics :S ?

  • love this song. watched my bloody valentine (the old one) today and when i heard it i'm like "omfg this is good" then when i found this video i'm like "OMFG THIS PERSON IS AWESOME"

  • i could not finish my bloody valentine

  • Great movie and great song.

  • THIS...IS...FUCKING....AMAZING! *_*

  • who sings it?

  • what a sad song

  • no dislikes :)

  • @stitchesful The killer is Tom Hanniger, played by Jensen Ackles.

  • one of the horror movies and theme song !!! :D

  • i dont get it

    its a remake

but when its a remake everything is same but with little changes

    1981 town was valentine bluffs

    2009 town was harmony ???

  • best theme ever

  • Who is the killer in the remake? Is it Harry Warden or is it the grown child of one of his victims again?

  • @stitchesful its fucking tom this time you know hannigers kid.

  • @theonlylasttruegamer No, I don't know who that is. But it isn't Harry Warden?

  • @stitchesful in the beggining it is but at the end...well just watch it and hanniger is the family that owns the mine.

  • @stitchesful Tom Hanniger is the son of the man who owned the mine. Harry Warden was the man who killed people at the beginning of the movie, after he awoke from a coma. Harry was shot and killed.

Tom Hanniger had schizophrenia. He honestly thought Harry was the murderer, but he was actually the one killing everyone DRESSED as Harry Warden.

  • @Thesporkbandit Thanks for the clarification. Interesting. But I still don't know if this movie is actually worth seeing or not.

  • @stitchesful Well, the original is much better, but I would definitely recommend the remake.

  • @Thesporkbandit Okay maybe I will.

  • This is one of my Favorite slasher movies and definitively a cult Classic. The remake Was decent but you really needed to see it in theaters because without the 3d effects(which where awesome) the movie is average.

  • The remake sucked.

  • @thebobbalo1 No it didn't. It was just OK

  • My bloody valentine is one of my favorite slasher movies! The remake was ok though.

  • I love the remake it was a good slasher that im glad i have to my collection. Im also a huge fan of Supernatural so i liked that Jensen Ackles was in it.

  • I LOVE BOTH MOVIES

  • the original is far better :) this ballad rocks.

  • preferred the original but the acting was WAY better in the re-make.

  • I need to learn how to sing this.

  • I liked the remake. I wasn't expecting that ending, but I was looking forward to it being the original ending. I guess that would have been too easy to guess though.

  • That is the most frightening laugh I've ever heard.

  • Happy Valentine's Day! *evil grin*

  • Happy Valentines Day to all the couples, hopeless romantics, gay/lesbian lovers, and sor forth.

  • Happy Valentine's Day 2011, haaahaaaahaaaaaahaaaaaaa!

  • Great movie and this folk song is awesome even though it is sad..

  • i love how it has axel's insane laugh in it

  • Bloody Valentine the old one was better it told more and the 3D one was ok but it can't beat the 1st one

  • Harry Warden is Probably the best murder ever

  • except the laugh it is a nice song

  • ever notice most remakes never beat the original but instead are ok to watch but still like most things in life the original beats all

  • @TheJackmilla

What about The Thing and The Fly? the greatest genre remakes ever.

  • get a harry warden costyme and go on camping with some friends. at night take the costume on and make the epic laugh in start of the song and they would wake up and u scare the heck out of them (sorry for my bad english)

  • what a great folk song

  • The one person who disliked this is going to be Harry Warden's next Valentine....

  • COOL SONG!

  • Okay, Harry is a kick ass slasher villain, he ranks up there with Jason, Micheal Myers, Freddy, and Leatherface. We need a pickaxe killer, we already have a machete, chef's knife, chainsaw, and fancy claws.

  • @Alexvanlord now we need a lumberjack with an axe lol

  • @crazyman1383 yeah we got machete weird knife gloves chainsaws pickaxes a skitchen knife (is there other)

i will ask ma friend about makin a movie with an axe man =)

  • @Alexvanlord Name on other horror villain with a bladed glove but ya he does

  • @Alexvanlord i totally agree

  • @agentkapser agrre for my bad english or the other thing

  • Pretty good.

  • sooooo good

  • this one was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than the remake!!

  • Awesome song of an awesome movie with an awsome remake ^^ .

  • This is straight up, almost to the T the Gaelic folk song 'Greensleeves' in its melody. Just sayin'.

  • The song is called, The Ballad Of Harry Warden

i cant seem to find it on limewire on itunes

  • i love the original 1981 my bloody valentine. the song at end of movie is awesome.

  • anyone know who sings this song.. i love it!!

  • @blondie2010able Paul Zaza

  • @blondie2010able John McDermott. He's a great singer, actually. You can find his other songs on YouTube and on Amazon.

  • @blondie2010able The singer is John McDermott (who has since made a name for himself in Canada as a Celtic balladeer).

  • This prooves that the original is much better than the horrible remake.

  • Song Name??

  • Just watched the original again. Wont watch the remake cause all remakes blow cock and ruin movies.

  • I can't find this song on itunes. Does anybody no why?

  • but annyway, one of the best horror theme ever

  • the old one is an underated masterpiece!!

    i love it!!

the new one is entertaning but it should have less over the top kills and should focus more on being scary.. but its still good i guess, but the old one is EPIC

  • This song is tight

  • I like this one and the remake. This song is awesome, simply awesome.

  • Song is awsome :> Me like it :> And the movies are the best of the best ;)

  • Both versions of Bloody Valentine are awesome, teh original is a classic and the 3D remake was a pleasant suprise and one of the best remakes of teh genre.

  • Hey, how are you, John. I'm sham33 from the IMDb borads. Nice to see you like both movies. I think both are excellent!!

  • @Shammyers33

    Yes they are.

  • @Shammyers33 Wow two fellow horror boarders on the same video! I'm Brett_Lives. Greetings!

  • Great! We are 3 now!!!

  • great song, great movie!, result a masterpiece of 80s horror!

  • love the song plus the movie :D i like the new one tho

  • I watched only the 2009 remake. Awesome movie, Harry Warden is an awesome "villain"! I love his pickaxe style :D Also, song is awesome.

  • @Warlord42 yeah now we got machetes fancy gloves chainsaws pick axes knifes a doll and a clown now we just need a lumberjack thing

  • song is awsome movie was good the remake was also great

  • (clap*)

  • Good tune!!!!

  • I love The Prom Night(1980) soundtrack too.

Paul Zaza is a wonderful songwriter!

  • Classic movie and a great song, so creepy yet emotional at the same time.

  • i i got freaked at the laugh lol haa ha haaa whaaa

  • They needed to add this to the 3-D remake at the end. Would almost have been a perfect touch or nod to the originals fans.

  • amen!

  • @DevilJosh4ever The 3-D remake is seriously a movie that shouldn't be made. Just like every other hollywood remake of good old-school slasher movies.

  • @rajlle

How come you don't shit on the old school genre remakes like The Thing and The Fly? what makes those different?

  • @Johnlindsey289 They were good!

  • @Johnlindsey289 agree,there seems to be a double standered.

  • @Johnlindsey289 Because they are great movies, and they were made by great directors, not all that Michael Bay/Platinum Dunes crap nowadays.

  • i ove this song for some reason yo

  • Great, creepy song.

    I loved this classic slasher.

I would compare it to the Song of Madman Marz from Madman (1981).

    But, its pretty close.

  • great song!

  • WHOA! You know what I just found out (at least from IMDB)? The singer is John McDermott - I love that guy. He's done some great folk singing of plenty of famous songs. Search him on YouTube - this has to have been when he was much younger, so his voice sounds a bit different, but it's still recognizable.

  • i thought it was by paul zaza?,lol

  • He composed it. John McDermott sang it.

  • Happy Valentines Day everybody

  • Something about Axels laugh is just too creepy at the beginning of the song.

  • Yeah. His laugh would make a good Joker laugh.

  • i agree!!!

  • ye,it sounds pretty easy but i was just wondering, bloody good song tho!

  • hey, amazing song by paul zaza do u know where i can get the guitar tabs? 5*

  • Sorry. Unfortunatly not. But the song isnt that tough i guess. I think that every experienced guitar player should figure it out...
