I used to have a civic just like that and trust me this was way before the F&F. I was probably the only person running around in a modified LX Honda Civic Sedan. LOL, they did even have parts for it I had to have them made at a shop. It's weird seeing videos like this with people racing them even if they are ricers.

An evo is not considered a dsm because dsm stands for diamond star motor. which was a company back in the 90`s that only made two motors for two different cars. the 420 non turbo. which you find in a (gs,rs,esi). and they also made the 4g63 motor which is the eclipse gst and gsx models and tsi talon model. after the cars where made for the 90 to 99 years mitsubishi and chysler combined into one company.

There is no MMMA it's called MMC for Mitsubishi Motor Company, Chrysler did not sell anything to mitsubishi because Plymouth Laser sales weren't selling like talon and eclipse, that's why they dropped laser in 94. All Chrysler did was dropped the laser and talon because of sales but the talon went on until 98 because they sales for a talon was better than laser. I have been playing with DSMs for 11 years now and I know all the facts of these dam cars,lol.

for all you who don't know, eclipse gsx after 92 technically isn't a dsm. 90-92 laser, eclipse, talons were dsm's after that year it is what it is.

@TimFanslau Mitsubishi and Chrysler incorporated dsm in like 86 or something and it was 50-50. changed plants twice, and made 1ga & 1gb eclipse, laser, talon from 88-91.

Chrysler sold its equity to Mitsubishi in 1991, so it was run by mitsubishi. 4 years after the fact in 1995 it was finally renamed mmma ( mitsubishi motors manufacturing america). not "dsm" anymore. because chrysler sold its half to mitsu in 91. 90-92 laser, talon, eclipse are true dsm's i think. but hey that's just my 2 cents

DSMs stop in 95 or "PRE" 94 when they dropped the laser from the Chrysler line in 94. 90-94 are all DSMs, 95 still had the bandage but wasn't considered "DSM" name. 96-99 was MMC and Chrysler drop "Eagle Talon" from their line in 98. Eclipse kept going until 99 where they stop making the "4g63" Eclipse and AWD :( Galant's are "NOT!!!" DSMs, they are MMC,lol.I call DSM whatever you have thats a 4g63

@turbothis2 yes your right but they are not DSMs because the Diamond Star Motors name was meant just for the talon/eclipse/laser combining with Chrysler. Galants Vr4 was made in japan shipped over and was only made 2000 of them so they can enter the rally racing in America. So that's why they are numbered cars. I had a galant gsx and they were more rare than VR4s and a gsr are the same. I know what you mean because I think they all are,lol.
