I saw Smokie two days ago, and they still rocks! Mike Craft is a very good lead singer, even though it's hard to follow in the footsteps of such great singers as Chris Norman and the late Alan Barton. They also performed some new songs, and the audience were ecstatic!

Although original is best, I think you will find that Smokie still have a very sucessful career without Chris, they still do sell out tours.

I'd like to see a reunion with the original line up but I can't see it happening.

Chris also has a successful solo career too - so everyone's a winner.
