The first phase sees two players standing offside but not actively involved, the guy who heads the ball comes from an onside position. The first time you marked it out, the two players offside weren't active, so giving offside there would have been incorrect. The second time you marked it out, yes technically, he was offside, however in real time, that's an incredibly hard decision to spot (coming from a linesman). If offside isn't given, then the ref has no option but to send Suarez off.

It´s a passive offside if he doesn´t interfere in the play, but he does since he plays the ball, so the one on the top part of the screen is also offside. There is only one potential offside here, and that is number 10 at the last instance where the video claims there is an offside. However, he draws the line in front of the goalie, rather than behind him as he should. It looks from the footage that number 10 is in line with the goalie and the defender behind him just, which means no offside, goal stands, red card stands.

It's a fair shout but if you think about it, under the current rules there is no offside. The first phase sees two players standing offside but not actively involved, the guy who heads the ball comes from an onside position. The second phase does appear offside but the ball travels sideways, not forward... you can only be offside from a FORWARD pass, so again, not offside. Regarding the handball, correct decision was given, player was sent off and Gyan missed his big chance... that's football!

The first time you marked it out, the two players offside weren't active, so giving offside there would have been incorrect. The second time you marked it out, yes technically, he was offside, however in real time, that's an incredibly hard decision to spot (coming from a linesman). If offside isn't given, then the ref has no option but to send Suarez off.

there was only one offside what the red card was for was for denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity with a hand ball. and the first offside was the one you were correct they were in an offside position but those players did not tough the ball till a defender touched it. the supposed second one yes they were in offside position but again defender touched the ball first. the supposed third offside was not offside at all.

At the third offside, Suarez is indeed on the goalline but the goalkeeper is in this case the last man so it is offside. Obviously you don't know anything about offsides :)

Should the goalkeeper wanted to reach FairPlay FIFA Sainthood, should have let the ball enter in the penalty kick. If the nigger were so stupid to kick the ball directly to the keeper, the keeper should get the ball and sent it in himself. If there´s a rebound,(new rule) it does not allow the player to play the ball so therefore he´s offside anyway. It´s a passive offside if he doesn´t interfere in the play, but he does since he plays the ball, so the one on the top part of the screen is also offside. Very fast play, chain of mistakes that helped Ghana in this case.

First of all: The foul that was signaled was not a foul. Could suggest you see the video which here is not shown. Second of all, the first offside which is shown in 0.32 in the video shows that clearly the player of Ghana was offside, actually both were because both go after the ball with the intention of playing it. The rule does not say if it should be by a few inches or many meters.

Look at 0:33 and you'll see that the player may or may not be offside, it just depends on which body part counts. The line here is drawn near the defender's head, but do you use the body part that's the farthest back? It's not clearly written like in ice hockey where you look at the trailing skate or stick on the blue line. Player at the top is not offside because he isn't involved in the run of play.
0:38 - player is not offside because he is even with both the GK and defender.

I don't see this as cheating (or at least not fully)... A rule was broken, yes, and Suarez was rightly punished for that, hence the red card... It wasn't Suarez's fault that Ghana didn't convert the penalty... He sacrificed himself for the team and although I would prefer that this wouldn't of happen, it happened and that's just part of life... I would've been more angry if the handball wasn't called and Suarez was still in the game :/

First one, they're passive, so not offside. 2nd one's tight, but I'd say just onside, but your yellow line goes from the Ghanian diagonally backwards and ends up "behind" the goal line. You lose credibilitiy when you do it that badly, should be parralel to the goal line, otherwise you're saying a Uruguayan would've had to have been behind the goal to keep him onside ;)

There is only one potential offside here, and that is number 10 at the last instance where the video claims there is an offside. However, he draws the line in front of the goalie, rather than behind him as he should. It looks from the footage that number 10 is in line with the goalie and the defender behind him just, which means no offside, goal stands, red card stands.
