Do u notice a color payoff or product quality difference between elf studio pigments and elf mineral eyeshadows? I was thinking of trying the studio pigments? I love some of the mineral shadows I got specially Socialite. Thanks for your review.

These are all lovely and I do regualarily buy from Elf but why is it that in America you hear youtubers saying that they got 50% or even 75% off their orders, this never happens in the uk and they are also dearer here too........

@KsstheStrs I tried pressing two of them to see how it worked and it didn't turn out so great. I had serious fall out and cracking and it was very messy. I've pressed a lot of loose powders before and never had this problem. I guess it is because they are "mineral" shadows and not just loose pigments, I'm not sure. They are still great though and surprisingly not messy and easy to use in their original form. I don't regret buying, I only regret messing up two of my shadows! lol

@Britin101 I tried it too but I used a small square pan so I didn't waste much. I used the alcohol method and they went back to their original form after swiping a brush over it a few times. I actually got 10 free off the website with a coupon. I was so excited but I will definitely be buying some more on my next order. I just wish they had more bright colors.

@KsstheStrs bright colors would be amazing, I agree. I also wish they had some more matte shades. Even though I noticed that they had a new matte white and brown, but I haven't tried them yet. They are having a sale so I'm hauling and might try them out :-) lol

@NuB82 the brush is wetted with water or a facial mist and used to apply the eye shadow.

you could just put a primer all over your eyelid and then put the shadow over top of that, so it stays better and makes it more vibrant. The other option is putting it on wet, and then putting some of it dry over the wet layer.

the pink look is my fav. I have found mysterious a difficult color to blend...it has a matte base with glitter---mattes are always a little more challenging to blend.
